Het is een fijne plek, mooie landelijke ligging tussen de palm- en bananen bomen en rijstvelden. Ideaal om even de drukte te ontvluchten aan het einde van de dag. Toch dichtbij de stad en strand om er met de fiets of Grap/lopend naartoe te gaan. Fantastisch ontbijt en héél enthousiast team; het voelt als thuis. Ze regelen alles voor je en de eigenaresse is zeer bekwaam taylor. We zijn daarom langer gebleven dan gepland.

Such a wonderful stay. The staff were fabulous and so caring. The location is beautiful with a great view over the rice fields, and just a short grab ride to the main centre of Hoi An town. The rooms are clean and a great size! We liked it so much we extended our stay :) Will definitely return if we come back to Hoi An!

EVERYTHING!!!!! oh my goodness..i could have stayed here for months, sadly it was only 9 days...
The staff was amazing ..the included breakfast was different every day and so delicious
The rooms are as shown on BOOKING.COM, we had great room to start and then got moved to an even better one after 2 days . #203..the beds are amazing.
The pool was a godsend in the heat of the day.
The surroundings were peaceful with the lovely sound of frogs and birds every day. It was great to stay outside of Hoi An which is very busy with tourists.
We used Grab for transport to the beach and pretty much everywhere else. Super cheap.
The homestay booked Hoi An Memories show for us and some transport as well.
Also took Grab to Banha hills .
The icing on the cake was that the owner is an amazing seamstress..i gave her my all time favorite Columbia shirt and she made 2 copies for me out of Bamboo material and a wrap around sundress for my aunt literally overnight...now that I'm home I get so many compliments .
I highly recommend you stay here. It's clean ,affordable, relaxing & beautiful
Ps ..breakfast is generally Vietnamese..but you can get eggs..Just ask 😉 We ...though we are old (71,77&77).lol.. preferred to eat local food, it's all part of the journey.

Mein Freund und ich waren vor circa einer Woche dort. Ursprünglich wollte wir nur ein paar Tage in Hoi an verbringen und haben den Aufenthalt dann doch nochmal um ein paar Nächte verlängert - nicht zuletzt weil es uns im New Sunshine homestay so gut gefallen hat!
Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, es gibt alles was man braucht (auch kleine Goodies wie Zahnbürsten, gratis Shampoo etc.)
ESSEN:
Das Frühstück dort ist super lecker! Es gibt ein Buffet mit verschiedenen warmen Gerichten, Früchten, Toast und wechselt täglich. Auch die kalten Getränkeoptionen variieren und werden frisch gemacht. Die Köchin des Homestays war wirklich unglaublich lieb und hat uns auch Mittags noch auf Abfrage etwas gekocht.
SCHNEIDEREI:
Die Betreiberin des Homestays bietet auch eigene Schneiderarbeit an. Wenn ihr daran Interesse habt euch Kleidung auf den eigenen Körper Maßgeschneidert zu bekommen macht das unbedingt. Der Preis ist super fair und ich kann nicht mehr betonen, dass es sich dort auch mehr lohnt als in der Stadt! Ich habe mir sowohl im Homestay als auch in der Stadt etwas schneidern lassen und hätte letzteres lieber nicht gemacht (teurer Preis, keine Flexibilität mit dem Stoff und definitiv nicht passend). Die Betreiberin hat mir dann nicht nur ein wunderschönes Kleid und 2 Oberteile genäht, sondern auch versucht den missratenen Versuch der städtischen Schneiderei auszubessern. Danke!! Großes Dankeschön an alle Mitarbeitenden! Die herzliche Atmosphäre hat für uns den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderen gemacht. Danke auch für die tollen Tipps für Aktivitäten rund um Hoi an (wir waren beispielsweise bei dem Memorial Fest, fanden es super und haben die Tickets über das Homestay leicht vergünstigt bekommen)

My stay at New Sunshine Homestay was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the owners made me feel genuinely welcome—they are an incredible couple who clearly take pride in every detail of their property.

A special highlight is their seamstress shop, which is truly top-notch. The craftsmanship is excellent, with high-quality materials and impressive attention to detail. Whether you’re looking for custom clothing or alterations, they deliver beautiful results quickly and at a very fair price.

If you’re traveling through Hoi An, I can’t recommend New Sunshine Homestay highly enough. It’s the kind of place that turns a good trip into a truly memorable one.

Great spot outside main area, amazing staff. We enjoyed the tranquil surroundings of the rice fields and local people.

Such a lovely hostess and staff! We loved our stay.
We were thrilled to have the silk shop onsite at way better prices than in town. We had beautiful garments made during our stay.
The breakfasts were lovely with something different for each morning.
