Check out person was not what I would expect at a hotel of this calibre. He wasn’t pleasant. The checkout person is the one who makes that last impression!!
Stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Prague for three nights and would definitely stay here again. The location is excellent, really well placed for getting around Prague and close to pretty much everything you’d want to see and do.
The hotel itself was very clean, spacious and well looked after throughout. The staff on reception were always friendly and genuinely helpful, especially with directions and organising taxis. Special mention to the chambermaids as well because the housekeeping was excellent and very thorough every day.
The restaurant next door serves fantastic food, genuinely one of the highlights of the stay, but definitely book ahead because it gets busy quickly.
The room we had was fairly basic but still very comfortable, with a really comfy bed and nice touches like Rituals toiletries, which were a lot nicer than the usual hotel products.
The sauna was excellent too, very hot and properly relaxing after a long day walking around Prague. The gym, however, was pretty mediocre. Fine if you just want a quick workout, but if you train seriously then it probably won’t do much for you. A couple of small improvements like easier access to ice and complimentary bottled water in the rooms would also make a difference. The minibar prices were very expensive as expected.
Overall though, a really enjoyable stay with excellent staff, a great location and a comfortable atmosphere throughout. Would happily return next time I’m in Prague.
Excellent hotel. Great central location, out of the main hustle and bustle but close enough to walk everywhere. Checking in was seamless, and our room was ready when we arrived at mid day, which was a bonus. The room was great, clean, and comfortable with lovely Rituals bathroom products. We even had a complimentary bottle of red wine. We didn't eat at the hotel but the restaurant looked fabulous. Only 1 thing is that I think complimentary water should be provided in your room, but apart from that one very small point, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend.

The room was very comfortable, and the bed sheets, pillows, and quilt were of excellent quality. The bathroom was well-appointed, and the bath was very comfortable to sit in. Staff were very. friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had a great selection, including a range of fresh breads and rolls.
The room (and free upgrade) was very nice. The breakfast was good.
When we checked in, we were told we didn’t have breakfast included…but we later realised we did have it included in our booking. The receptionist happily fixed this for us but from looking online, this seems to be a recurring problem - so watch out!
