Four Points by Sheraton Surabaya, Tunjungan Plaza

Overall, everything was excellent.

During check-in, we were assisted by Friska, and since both my parents and I are Bonvoy members, we were kindly provided with complimentary afternoon tea sets for our three rooms. 🙏

The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with very attentive service. Unfortunately, I forgot the staff member’s name, but there was one server who even remembered me, which I truly appreciated.

The staff went above and beyond to remember my Birthday. They gave me a surprise birthday wish at Breakfast. Overall the staff were attentive and ready to assist you if needed. The hotel is attached to a big mall "Tunjungan Plaza"; Food and shopping paradise. If you are lucky enough to be in Surabaya on Sunday Car Free day, you can walk out of the hotel and join the vibe of the local people on their walk, exercise or explore on foot the area close to the hotel. The kopitam coffee shop " Ahpek" is around the corner of the hotel across from the Hotel Majapahit. It's a must when visiting Surabaya.

The buffet breakfast spread could have more Western choices, but it was tasty and satisfying. Golden blue Bird staff is available at the concierge if you need to rent a car hourly with a driver to see Surabaya in a nutshell. It's very affordable rather than a taxi ride to several places. Keep in mind that the city is rather big. But the primary cultural hot spots are not far from the hotel.

Wat hebben wij genoten van ons verblijf! Het ontbijt was iedere ochtend heerlijk: uitgebreid, vers en divers, met zowel westerse gerechten als lokale specialiteiten. Manager Swara maakte het extra bijzonder door ons persoonlijk mee te nemen op een culinaire ontdekkingsreis langs alle smaken en gerechten.

Het hele personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en warm in de omgang. Je voelde je echt welkom door de persoonlijke benadering van iedereen. Swara deed er alles aan om ons verblijf onvergetelijk te maken en verraste ons zelfs met VIP-tickets voor Surabaya Vaganza — een fantastische ervaring!

De kamers waren ruim, netjes en brandschoon. Iedere dag werd alles perfect schoongemaakt en zorgvuldig aangevuld. Ook het zwembad was heerlijk: ruim, fris en prachtig omringd door groen. Ook daar werden we uitstekend verzorgd en geholpen met alles wat we nodig hadden.

Kortom: een fantastisch verblijf met geweldige service, lieve mensen en oog voor detail. Wij komen hier met veel plezier terug!

Nice atmosphere, family holiday and escape

Just finished a 3-day stay here and it was fantastic. The location is perfect - right inside Tunjungan Plaza so shopping, dining, and everything you need is literally downstairs.

Special shoutout to Rizki and Amelia at the front desk. They made the whole experience smooth from check-in to check-out. Rizki was super helpful with recommendations for local food and made sure our room was ready early. Amelia was so warm and attentive throughout our stay, always checking if we needed anything without being intrusive. Their service really stood out and made us feel welcomed.

They also went the extra mile for my little princess’s birthday. The team arranged a simple, lovely room decor and surprised us with a complimentary cake. It made the day feel extra special without being over the top.

Room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short trip. Bed was great for sleeping after long days out, and the view was a nice bonus.

If you’re staying in Surabaya, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. And if you get Rizki and Amelia on your visit, you’re in good hands.

Strategic location with clean, comfortable rooms and excellent service

Room was spacious and clean. Location is convenient and close to the mall.

Located in the heart of Surabaya, and next to one of the biggest shopping mall here. I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms is really big and comfortable for my little family. I traveled with my husband and one toddler. They have a great playground for my kid and a very clean pool that makes me want to jump instantly from the receptionist.

To my surprise, they gave us a complimentary dessert to complete our long weekend stay in here even though we didn’t book their suit. Mrs. Hera in the reception was really helpful, we arrived before the check in time and she helped us with the check in so my kid can rest before exploring Surabaya and of course the Four Points and Tunjungan Plaza.
