Pros:

The restaurant staff especially Mr Joseph, the executive chef is very humble and caring and the front office staff Mira, Jyothi, abhirami etc were highly professional and responsive.

Cons:

The technical staff/ house keeping staff not up to the mark. They may be trained well .

The staff were lovely and the view was beautiful

Cons:

It was filthy, the rooms are so dated and have black mold from what looks like a previous flood. We tried to flag this to staff but they did not see the issues with the room, they did move us to another but this was no better. During check out we showed pictures of the second room and its unacceptable condition which they then handled well. This was meant to be a very special stay and we even paid for the honeymoon suite to ensure this, we were so disappointed and upset

MY CHARGER WAS STOLEN FROM MY ROOM

The location and the views are good. Rooms are clean and tidy. Ambience and activities are decent.

Cons:

My OEM Charger was stolen by the facility staff. It was a 120W Supervooc charger by Oppo. I had put both my chargers in my bag before leaving for the local tour. When we came back, the room was cleaned and my charger was gone from the bag. Hotel didn't take much investigation efforts. I had to checkout so even I had no choice but to let go. The hotel management waived off 1 buffet dinner which they claim is 2000 but the cost to them won't be more than 700-800. Kerala Tourism calls it God's Own Country - I disagree.

Extremely disappointing for the price
Pros:

View was about as good as you’d expect

Cons:

Rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, which is unacceptable for a room at this price - there was trash on my patio, mold on all the bathroom tile grout, and one of the lamps on my bedroom was hanging lopsided off the wall. Not to mention the pillows and bed were stiff and uncomfortable.

Also the gym and amenities were a joke, see my photo. And while the food was ok, I had to listen to THREE separate babies screaming the whole time I ate dinner. It felt like more like a daycare than a high end hotel.

On top of this, as I was about to leave one of their staff was repeatedly insisting for me to review them on this website, all while hovering over me to watch me write it. Well here’s your review buddy.

A fantastic all round experience.
Pros:

Excellent balcony views over the plantation and a wide spread including both local as well as international cuisine for breakfast buffet. The facilities were also top notch and the staff were exceptional.

Awfully and not worthy 5 star

Just the kindness of the personnel but that’s really everything

Cons:

We had so many issues. First of all we checked in a room and the smell of the bathroom was awful. Also the room was filled with the smell of smoke because the staff were just cooking outside of our window.

We changed room and there was hair in the shower. A lot of mold and again the smell of smoke in the room. This makes it very uncomfortable to breath properly. They were trying to hide the sense of smoke with some citrus parfum which resulted in headaches for our family.

We tried to cancel our last day of the booking but they were not willing to do so.

This is so not worth a five Starr!
