Great comfy feeling hotel with friendly staff and such great price

Worked perfectly for what we needed.
Pros:

Family room was great and a good size for us all. Check in and out was quick and car parking was easy. Location is perfect for being close to everything.

Cons:

Breakfast was good but not enough staff so was slower than would have liked as we were in a hurry but this did not cause any major issues for us.

Super nice and helpful Team
Pros:

The Staff were amazingly helpful. My son was staying on his open day at Falmouth University. They arranged a Taxi to collect him from the station and to and from the Uni on the open day. Thank you Team Penmere.

My stay was not as enjoyable as I had imagined it was going to be.
Pros:

I liked the location, and I liked the welcoming from the staff. The setting of the hotel is very pleasant because it is very quiet. I liked the privacy of the room I was allocated, it was not noisy and it was on the fringe of the main building.

Cons:

I felt the room I was in felt very 'tired' and dated, and needed some refreshing.

Some of the lights in the room didn't work at all and some flickered when they were on.

There was a musty 'old persons' smell in the wardrobe and in the drawer units which was rather off putting - it meant I didn't wish to leave me belongings in those spaces.

In the dining area there was a system - it required guests to stand at the entry point and 'wait to be seated'. I couldn't quite understand the intention or rationale for this to be necessary. It would have felt more welcoming to have been able to freely choose a table to sit at. It was almost as if by waiting to be ''given a place to sit' was in contrast to the idea that guests were choosing the hotel, but not invited to be able to choose where they sat at meal times. 🤔🤔🤔

Very poor hotel
Pros:

Nothing was awfull

Cons:

The hotel was rundown our room smelled of damp bathroom really bad. Shower terrible.we had flies / flees in the room all night. The leisure facilties were really bad. Jaccuzi was filthy. Steam room was rotten and changing area . Metal old doors on changing cabinets did not work. Shower was really old. We did not feel it was value for money. Reception new about the damp and offerd us no refund. Would ever stay there again

Pros:

The location, the facilities and the breakfast were all excellent. Everyone from reception to restaurant was helpful, friendly and courteous

Some of the decor was a little bit tired, but there really wasn't anything to complain about

Attending a wedding⁸
Pros:

Location was good. 30 minutes to the town centre. Staff were welcoming and polite.

Cons:

The room was very small and the furnishings in many aspects were tired and the room.not that clean. Shower pumps were very noisy, so you could hear the neighbouring rooms when in use. The view from the room was non-existent but private.

Penmere Manor
Pros:

Een prachtig hotel op een schitterende locatie. Vanaf t hotel kun je de zee zien. Het personeel van het restaurant is heel vriendelijk. Ook een wasmachine aanwezig. Is voor motorrijders met weinig bagage heel fijn om alles een keer te kunnen wassen en drogen

Cons:

Kamers zijn wel wat gehorig. En ook het klappen van kamerdeuren is in de avond en in de ochtend niet fijn
