We enjoyed our stay and probably would stay again now we have familiarised ourselves with the area.
Pros:

The bedroom was lovely, and we had a view over the front of the hotel towards the sea in the distance. It was tidied every day and complimentary shower gel, tea and coffee etc, replenished. Breakfast also was brilliant. The pool was lovely (although the changing facilities could do with updating). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is sufficient car parking available.

Cons:

The bathroom let our particular room down. Whilst everything was clean and towels changed daily, the bath panel had a crack in it which was unsightly and also the rubber bath mat provided had seen better days. Was surprised that in view of the excellent care and attention that was given to providing clean towels every day and refilling the tea/coffee containers and the shampoos etc, a new bath mat should not have been a problem and would have made a big difference. We managed to find a car park space every day but went out in the car every day as found the hotel was just too far and too hilly for us as two 70 plus year olds, to be able to walk into town or the beach even, obviously not the hotel's fault. (We would add we didn't actually find the Gyllyngvase beach till the last day as found car parking everywhere in town and elsewhere extremely difficult and expensive.) Wish had found it earlier but we did tour round to other towns etc.

No sleep!
Cons:

Extremely noisy. We could hear everything in the bathrooms adjoining our room. In the morning a group of tourists waited outside our window and woke us up. There was a diesel luggage buggy which also parked outside leaving the engine running which omitted fumes into our window and was so so loud.

Overall a good property.
Pros:

Spacious rooms. Relaxed environment. Friendly staff.

Cons:

If having heavy baggage, upper floor rooms not recommended. In summer, fan should be provided at no additional cost.
