Pros:

A very thoughtful gesture by the staff, who left us a nice note wishing us a happy anniversary along with a bowl of candies.

Cons:

There was no water in the room (neither a bottle nor a pitcher), which should be a standard amenity. Additionally, upon arrival, the toilet paper roll was already half-used rather than a new one, which doesn't match the hotel's standards.

Beautiful hotel in a prefect location where it’s clear that the owners really care about providing a lovely experience.
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful hotel close to the centre. Lovely Rooms with light and fluffy pillows and duvets. We all slept so well! The Courtyard, Breakfast area, Bar area and Reception were all lovely. The Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was so fresh, lovely warm breads, salmon, cheeses and the porridge was the best I’ve ever had anywhere! Couldn’t fault it. The attention to detail, trims on the curtains, Bathrobes and towels made everything that bit more special. It was my Daughter’s 30th Birthday and we asked for a Deluxe room. It was amazing, beautifully furnished with lovely comfy seating area and entrance area. Absolutely perfect!

Central Location
Pros:

Location is great - 2 mins to Esplanadi, 2 min to S-market. Tons of restaurants around. Rooms are decent size by European standards with modern amenities. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is excellent - variety of different breads, berries, heavenly croissants. Try Karelian pastry with egg butter. Surprisingly all yoghurts and 'milk' are lactose free (regular milk is available at a different station). Front desk is helpful and cheerful . Highly recommended property.

Quality choice in Helsinki, if you're sensitive to noise, ask to avoid rooms directly above the bar
Pros:

Staff were helpful, quick and friendly. Great breakfast. Lovely to have the quiet courtyard areas. This hotel ranks in the top tier of Helsinki hotels and as we stayed in a different hotel (next tier down) on our return Helsinki, it's easy to see why. The standard room is larger, the furnishings are finer, everything is just that much more polished.

Cons:

Our room was directly above the bar, (which to be fair shuts at a reasonable time) and this meant we could hear some music when we were going to bed. We were super tired after waking up at 3.30am and I am very sensitive to sound. The hotel is generally very quiet. If I had known, I would have asked for a room on a higher floor or basically away from the bar as that noise did carry a little. Everything else about the hotel is lovely. And I suspect that pretty much every other room is quiet.
