We had an exceptionally positive experience at Gangga. As a family of three (with a 12-year-old boy) finished our open water certification here - and everybody was professional and warm. The instructor Johan is very experienced and a fantastic teacher and diver. The german lady (Ange?) at the dive center very warm and helpful - they became family in the 5 days were were there!
The resort must have suffered during corona and is successively being renovated and updated. Our bungalow (number 2) was totally new and just beautiful. As are the grounds, the big pool and the main house. The food was very good (menu to choose for lunch and dinner) - and the staff absolutely ALL lovely. The manager is an indonesion lady who really cared and made sure everybody did the best they could.
We are very glad were experienced this resort and the quality of the dive center here and would love to come again. Thank you!

Fantastyczna i przemiła obsługa ze strony wszystkich pracowników (zwłaszcza restauracja i recepcja). Wstawali o 3:00 rano żeby umożliwić oglądanie meczów na dużym ekranie.
Położenie:
Obiekt jest położony w zacisznym miejscu przy samej plaży. Piękna rafa koralowa (snorkeling) dostępna z brzegu ale uwaga: tylko przy przypływie. W niektórych godzinach mogą występować silne prądy.
Bardzo wygodne i przestronne domki przy plaży. Piękne widoki na morze i kratery wygasłych wulkanów.
Nurkowanie:
Świetny dive center. Nitrox bez dopłaty. Piękne i bardzo różnorodne (groty, makro, ściany) miejsca do nurkowania (ok. 25 min speed boot). Całodniowe wycieczki na nurkowanie do Lembeh i Bunaken (uwaga: minimum 4 osoby)
WiFi:
Znakomite na terenie całego obiektu.
Do obiektu wrócę na pewno.
1) Stosunkowo mało indonezyjskiego jedzenia, a przecież Indonezja (a zwłaszcza region Minahasa) ma znakomitą kuchnię.
2) Plaża powinna być codziennie sprzątana (prądy nanoszą regularnie śmieci (plastik) o czym rozmawiałem z managementem który wdrożył stosowne działania.
3) Bardzo wysoki koszt transferu z/do Manado i naliczany osobno za każdą osobę a nie za samochód.
Our beach front villa was perfect! Very clean and well appointed with all the amenities we expected. Close to the restaurant area and amazing pool but far enough away that it felt private. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets are stunning. Staff are very attentive and friendly and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The local village within walking distance of the resort is fantastic, and the locals are so friendly. The dive team are professional and very experienced, an absolute highlight of our stay.
You can tell the resort is getting on in years being one of the originals in the area. The team however are constantly maintaining, upgrading and improving all aspects of the property.

Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour sur l’île de Gangga.
Nous y avons trouvé un personnel fabuleux, une île paradisiaque.
Nous recommandons fortement.
Il s’agit d’un super entre deux entre (i) un confort et des services et (ii) de la tranquillité.
Nous retenons particulièrement Clavis pour le service et Johann+Gabriel pour la plongée.
J’ai pu passer l’open water avec Johann - super prof qui vous met en confiance et vous fait évoluer tte très rapidement. Pour tout nouveau plongeur, c’est parfait.
Il m’a permis d’aller sur les plongées avec ma compagne, plongeuse confirmée, tout en adaptant la sortie à mes capacités. Vraiment tout est parfait.
On a vraiment eu l’impression d’aller chez des vieux amis qui connaissaient tous nos noms des le premier jour.
Merci mille fois encore pour ce merveilleux moment partagé avec vous.

Tout ! L'emplacement, les bungalows sur la plage, la piscine, le jardin ainsi que les repas et petit déjeuner excellents. Mon compagnon ne pouvant pas manger épicé, ils ont même accepté qu'il puisse choisir des plats en dehors de ceux prévus dans la formule demi-pension.
Et surtout, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de tout le Staff que ce soit à l'accueil, au restaurant ou au centre de plongée, tous font tout leur possible pour rendre votre séjour parfait

the location is amazing and the diving was pretty good. our bungalow was on the beach
the place needs doing up it is run down; the serivce was not great, the AC didn't work well and unfortuately the food was not good
The resort is located on a pristine island with beautiful beach. There is an amazing coral garden right in front of the resort. The bungalows are tastefully furnished and very clean. Food is superb. The staff is amazingly helpful and nice.

Location is beautiful and the garden as well. The hotel is a bit old fashioned but nice (not really ok for the price).
The pool is also beautiful.
The garbage, you can find lots of plastic and clothes in the sea and beach. The place is beautiful and water is clear and transparent but once you get in you see so much garbage it makes you want to stay out of the water, the beach is also full of plastic and garbage. They tell you they recycle and clean, we've seen many employees cleaning the gardens and some parts of the beach, but not at all the parts near the water, they did not even take advantage of the low current to pick up what the sea brings to the beach. Its just horrible and depressing. They have employees (young people in stage/training) that offer you water all the time when they could just leave you the bottle in the table and use these people to clean the beaches and sea. They also need to learn more english.
