Central location , helpful team , good parking , good value
For the price paid , it was good .
Great location in the centre of the historic market town, just a short walk to the market, cathedral, shops. Very easy check in and check out process. Room as to be expected for the price, amenities all functional.
Bathroom could use a refresh.
Location is very good
Room was not serviced when we asked. So when we got back in the evening there was no toilet roll (no spare when we arrived), no coffee, tea, milk, the bed not made and the small bin was full. We complained and got some replacements and an apology. The following day we didn't ask for a room service but got one.

It was extremely hot in the room, we were in a heat wave but perhaps a fan would have helped
Die Lage ist perfekt: Man ist mitten in der Altstadt. Das Personal ist super nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist lecker und wird frisch gekocht. Es gibt auch sehr gute vegetarische Optionen. Der private Parkplatz ist definitiv auch ein Pluspunkt. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Bequemes Bett. Im Pub unten kann man lecker zu Mittag oder zu Abend essen oder einfach einen Drink haben.
Da es während meines Aufenthalts sehr heiß war (über 30 Grad), war es entsprechend auch sehr heiß im Zimmer, trotz ständig laufender Ventilatoren. Aber das ist vermutlich eher ein sehr seltener Zustand in England und die ganze Stadt musste vor Hitze leiden.

The room was very hot but we did have a fan but we did stay on one of the hottest days of the week.
The surroundings are lovely. The bedrooms are spacious. I particularly loved the dining/bar area which has stylish decor, and is well thought out - there's a place for everyone, even if you want to just be in your own space.
The biggest highlight was that the staff were ever so friendly and helpful, and nothing was ever a problem. The manager sorted me out for last minute dinner and b'fast which was most appreciated.
