Great location in a unique building to see the city with friendly helpful staff.

Pros:

Fabulously repurposed old army barracks.
The breakfast was beautifully presented on individual platters. It was more than welcome wanted to eat so, not wishing to be wasteful, we shared a breakfast the following mornings.
We were given a drinks voucher because we didn't want housekeeping services and there were free ice lollies available for guests.

Cons:

It was a bit noisy with guests arriving late and students chatting late into the night in the children's play area outside our window.
Car parking was an extra €22 per day but it was nearby and very secure.

Een ontspannen verblijf in een lief en handig hotel.
Pros:

Het is op een mooie plek en je loopt makkelijk de stad in. Voor het hotel is een klein parkje, aan de andere kant staat de mooie Morschpoort. De parkeergarage is aan de overkant, vlakbij. Het hotel heeft een knusse authentieke sfeer. Ik vond onze kamer fijn en licht, het was netjes en schoon. Voor ons hondje lag er een dekentje klaar en was er een waterbak en wat snack. We kregen waterflesjes wat fijn was want het was heel warm. Het ontbijt was leuk! Lekkere koffie en verschillend lekkers om te eten aan tafel geserveerd op een mooie plank.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Die Lage war bestens und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück hat uns besonders gut gefallen.

Cons:

Schade, dass die Bar bereits um 21.00 Uhr schließt und sich danach auch kein Personal mehr im Haus befindet.

We are an older family of adults and the hotel was perfect for our stay and we would return.
Pros:

Everyone we dealt with was welcoming friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tge beds very comfortable. The ambiance of the hotel was very relaxed and pleasant. The location, 5 or 6 minutes from the station and on the edge of the City centre was excellent. It was generally very quiet at night although one of our party had a problem with noise from late night stragglers on the first (Friday) night. The coffees in the room were very good and the breakfasts enormous and excellent.

Cons:

There was nowhere to unpack our clothes in our first floor twin room, just a few wire coat hangers behind a beam. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim. There was nowhere to sit other than in the cafe or our rooms if we were in during wet weather.

A nice stay in a quirky building ideal location to explore the area.
Pros:

Breakfast was very tasty and lots of it. It was served on a tray at our table. Coffee was very good.
Staff all very helpful.
Area to sit outside the hotel to enjoy a drink.
Hotel was in a very good position to explore the town, it was a short walk to the train station to travel to Amsterdam and across the road from the carpark.

No all good!
