Schön, gut gemacht, aber stickig
Pros:

Die Lage ist zentral und gleichwohl ruhig. Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll renoviert. Die Zimmer sind gross, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend; eine Person bei uns war krank, und das Reinigungsteam hat uns lieb geholfen. Auf vegane und vegetarische Speisewünsche wurde problemlos eingegangen. Parking im städtischen Parkhaus ist nicht billig (22eur/Tag) aber sehr angenehm und gleich um die Ecke.

Cons:

Es ist ein historisches Gebäude, weshalb keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist. Leider lassen sich deshalb manche Fenster auch nur knapp öffnen. Das Hotel gibt sich alle Mühe, die Situation angenehm zu machen, es stehen Ventilatoren und gratis Eis zur Verfügung, aber selbst bei mässigen Temperaturen draussen wird es sehr drückend und stickig in den Zimmern, was in unserem Fall sehr unangenehm war.

Es gibt eine zentrale Selbstbedienungsbar, aber das wird schnell teuer. Ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre eine grosse Hilfe gewesen.

Das Frühstück ist unkonventionell, es ist kein Buffet sondern ein vorbereitetes grosses Brett mit viel Essen, das hingestellt wird. Für uns zu viel, wir haben es als eher unangenehm empfunden.

Picturesque setting in a sympathetically modernised building.
Pros:

Convenient for the train station and in an ideal setting for exploring the historic centre. Excellent breakfasr served at the table and pleasant to sit outside adjacent to the canal and overlooked by a windmill. The building itself seems to be part of the city's history and thoghtfully converted.

Cons:

Unfortunately no air conditioning in our room; however coolimg fan was supplied. Only one chair supplied.

Staff were helpful and pleasant, breakfast was very good. Close to train station.

Cons:

The temperature was mid to low 80's when we were there. There were two fans in the attic style room to help with cooling. We had to keep the window open at night to try to cool the room. There was a restaurant below our room that was open late and was noisy, and because the attic style window had a shade inside of it, when it was open there was no way to darken the room. It may be quieter during the week. We were there on the weekend. It would be a much better stay when it wasn't so hot.

Clean, nice, comfortable, conveniently located, great food and coffee.
Pros:

The room was so nice, very clean, and well maintained! The staff were all polite. Coffee and breakfast was delicious. This place was incredible and I highly recommend this to anyone.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing! This place is wonderful. You won’t be sorry!
