President Hotel

Das Zimmer war jetzt im Juli recht warm. Es gab aber immerhin einen Ventilator. Die Bettdecken waren auch etwas zu dick für den Sommer.

Nos hubiera gustado más que las camas hubieran estado vestidas con sábana bajera y encimera además del edredón porque hacía calor y una sábana ligera hubiera sido un acierto. No obstante la ropa de cama era de buena calidad y estaba muy limpia

It was a very hot day so the fact the room only had a poor old fan was shocking, to not provide water bottles in the room is a bit bad and yes there is a single water fountain on the ground floor, I would suggest one on each floor.
The room was incredibly basic and needs a really good revamp.
To not be told that there were huge building works going on outside the window is shocking yes they finish at 6 and start at 8 but it was not in any way a relaxing stay.
For the price the room just wasn't good enough.

Where to start. The location was great but when we got to hotel there is full scaffolding on the front of the hotel which is really noisy and looks awful. It was middle of world cup so was going to watch some matches in our room but the TV didn't work. When we asked for it to be fixed we were told no problem but they did nothing for the 2 days we were there. We were going to complain further at reception as soon as they asked how our stay was. Instead we got exactly these words. Thank you and goodbye. When we emailed hotel that day we were told thanks for letting us know nothing more. Please don't stay here they won't tell you it's a construction site and u'll pay full price and if anything is wrong they will not fix it. They could not care less about customers

klimaatcontrole was slecht. het was heel heet in de kamer. geen airco of verkoeling mogelijk. we kregen daarom een verlengsnoertje om een ventilator te gebruiken, maar dat hielp niet.
in de badkamer geen afzuiging. mijn man is COPD-patient. hij kreeg het GEVAARLIJK benauwd in de badkamer.
geen daadkrachtig optreden bij een klacht over luchtbehandeling. bij uitchecken waren de verontschuldigingen bij de receptie slechts loze woorden. bv "volgende keer dat u komt, andere kamer vragen"
wij zullen niet weer komen.

L'unica cosa negativa forse è il bagno troppo piccolo

La chambre était petite et les prix très élevés.
Il y a longtemps que je ne suis pas allée à Londres et les prix en général (hôtel, restaurant, sortie) ont explosé.

L'orario in cui la stanza dovrebbe essere pronta non corrisponde a quanto scritto sul sito, noi siamo arrivati un po' prima delle 14.00 e giustamente ci hanno detto di tornare a quell'ora, peccato che una volta tornati ci hanno informati che c'era ancora un'oretta da attendere.
La stanza è senza aria condizionata ed è veramente difficile dormire in estate non avendo nemmeno la possibilità di aprire le finestre: viene fornito un ventilatore che però fa poco.
Noi siamo stati sfortunati per il rumore, la stanza dava su un cortile dove c'erano lavori in corso ( ma leggo sulle recensioni che è un bel po' che vanno avanti, meglio informarsi prima). Non è proprio il massimo essere svegliati da martelli pneumatici e mole a disco.
Un giorno siamo rientrati alle 15.30 per una piccola sosta, la stanza non era ancora stata fatta, abbiamo visto il personale e chiesto se ci davano mezz'ora che saremmo usciti, abbiamo anche posizionato il cartellino di rifarla: rientrati alla sera nessuno si era fatto vivo. Ci sono stati forniti dopo aver chiamato la reception asciugamani puliti.
