Love this hotel in the heart of Donegal town
Pros:

Good beds & room clean

Cons:

Maybe a bottle of water in the room would be good & a vending machine to get a drink for after hours

Good location but poor food service

Great location and hotel was very clean.

Cons:

Restaurant service was poor. The mussels I ordered were served in a thick cheese sauce (not a white wine sauce as per menu) with rock hard garlic bread. They were dry, rubbery and inedible. I called over the waitress and she said she would inform the kitchen. No one came back and the bill was proffered with the mussels on it I refused to pay for them and asked to see the manager. The bill came back with the mussels removed but no contact from the manager. Very poor service.

The good at dinner is really good. The staff were also very good both at the restaurant and reception.

Warm welcome in The Central Hotel
Pros:

The warm welcome by the staff really means so much. The hotel is very clean and the room very comfortable.

Cons:

The lifts don't really get to your floor. There are many steps to be negotiated in between, which are nor easy with heavy luggage

De locatie Personeel was vriendelijk.

Cons:

De kamer was klein, oud en aftands. De badkamer was echt goor zo vies. Hele vieze bruine en zwarte voegen. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopt totaal niet € 200,- voor een dergelijke smerige kamer zonder ontbijt is buitensporig duur. Absolluut geen aanrader. Ik zou dan liever een ander hotel uitkiezen.

Lovely room with nice view of the river.

Cons:

We decided to stay for breakfast which we were disappointed with. Very basic and waiter attention was poor.
