Pros:

Hotel bien situé, pratique en bord de mer avec piscine agréable. Très bon accueil par un personnel chaleureux. Le restaurant doit faire un effort.

I believe I should get a significant discount in my final bill due to the experience

Staff was really nice. Location was great. Breakfast was great

Cons:

Noise was extreme in my room which was facing the casino and no one warned me. I had 2 hrs of sleep the first night which completely messed me up for the rest of my vacation. They moved me rooms and the second room had a sewage smell and the shower sink was not draining

Pros:

Chambre spacieuse avec de nombreuses attentions à notre arrivée.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié.
Nous avons pris le parking CR7 et avons payé 15€ pour les 3 jours.
Le personnel est à l'écoute et disponible .
Piscine agréable par ce temps ensoleillé

La musique qui résonne du bar qui peut-être tardive...

Era para descansar, foi um desastre.
Pros:

O staff era simpático e o serviço muito bom. O serviço era o exigivel para um hotel 4*.

Cons:

O hotel está localizado em frente à maior discoteca do Funchal. O quarto que me foi atribuido ficava virado para o lado da discoteca. Numa das noites o ruido terminou às 5.00 e na outra noite já passava das 7.30. Era impossível descansar. Senti-me engaanado porque acho que o hotel tinha a obrigação de tornar este facto público no momento da reserva.

Besser als erwartet. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal in allen Bereichen. Leckeres Frühstück, kein 08/15 Büfett. Zimmer mit Zugang zur Terasse perfekt. Poolbereich ausreichend. Tolle Lage. Für Ronaldo Fans perfekt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Obrigada

Super séjour , nous reviendrons!
Pros:

L emplacement est très jolie , les infrastructures sont top (piscine jacuzzi et hammam )et le personnel très sympathique et disponible pour nous faire passer un super séjour.

I was unable to speak to the reception on leaving the hotel Monday morning as he did not speak English and it was very early as we were catching the ferry. 


The first 2 days there was pool service with a barman in attendance who not only served food and drinks but stopped boys kicking footballs all over the pool and deck.


The remaining 2 days our 4 year old grandchild had to wait for them to leave the pool before getting in. You removed the pool service so we had to go down to the bar to order and carry drinks up.


We were going to eat on the pool deck the last night as the world cup was on  but residents could not do this. We phoned to order room service and was told 'we are too busy you cannot have room service'.


With a 4 year old we had to get a sandwich from a shop!


I went to reception to complain , again told ''we are too busy with the public in the bar'.  Did you charge the public  over 300 euros a night to sit in your bar?


We thoroughly enjoyed our first 2 days but was ruined by the pool attendance being removed and the rudeness of the staff on our last night.


We travel a lot and have stayed in Pestana Hotels before and was confident in booking this. This hotel let us down and was a huge disappointment.

Pros:

Location is good, its on the flat & easily within walking distance to Funchal main promenade & shopping area

Cons:

Its a themed hotel & the decor reflects that. The main stairs are very central, but a bit difficult to navigate. They can be a bit dazzling & gives a false sense or perception of depth
