Average hotel
Pros:

It's in a fantastic location for starting the Coast to Coast with very little competition for food etc. The room albeit a bit small was fine clean and tidy. Breakfast was substantial

Cons:

The reception and bar very dated and reminded me of 1980's working men's club. Evening meal okay but had to eat in bar as restaurant booked out for a function. Staff not unfriendly but close!

Lovely hotel and perfect location near the beach at St Bees. Lovely friendly staff.
Pros:

Very comfortable and clean. Great location for us as starting Coast to Coast next day. Staff were lovely and food was good.

Pros:

The location is perfect to start the Coast to Coast walk. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant. The dinner and buffet breakfast were both good with excellent service.
The room was big and the beds very comfortable.

Nice peaceful ,cozy rooms near the beach .
Pros:

Nicely located near the beach . Ample of parking spaces .Room was clean and good size for a family .Beds were comfortable .On site restaurant was great but you need to prebook a table ,food was great and reasonably priced .Restaurant closes soon but bar is open till late .Morning breakfast was good , it is not a full buffet , serves english breakfast on order, need to prebook .Not too many eateries nearby so if you are late only option of food is the hotel restaurant .
It was a pleasant stay , staff were good ,location is fantastic if you want to have a walk along the beach .

Cons:

Room view was good , but could be better .Only few upper floor rooms were sea facing .

Pros:

Second year running as a group of 8 with dogs and we had a lovely time. Fantastic place to stay lovely walks.

Cons:

We felt that the menu in the seacote was better last year but it was still nice. We just felt that the prices had gone up and the portion size went down
