De locatie was ongeveer het enige goede aan dit hotel. De heren van de security en bagage zijn erg vriendelijk.

Cons:

Mijn telefoon is verdwenen van mijn hotel kamer, daar was het personeel niet erg behulpzaam in. Bij terugkomst na een 3 daagse trip, leek er ook niemand naar om te hebben gekeken naar de melding dat tijdens de schoonmaak overdag mijn telefoon uit onze kamer was verdwenen. De receptie deed er niks aan behalve nog even bellen met de housekeeping. Die hadden uiteraard niks gevonden. In Panama was mijn telefoon op find my iphone offline. Eenmaal in Nederland is mijn telefoon op 'find my Iphone' nog in het hotel én online.

We zouden onze spullen achter laten vanwege een trip naar San Blas, en vertrokken dus extreem vroeg. Bij terugkomst was een korte duik of even afspoelen bij het hotel niet mogelijk en was de enige mogelijkheid om tegen betaling te douchen in de Spa.

De kamers zijn erg gehorig, niet vanwege de discotheken in de buurt, maar de lobby muziek die 24 uur per dag doorgaat. De muziek staat overal erg hard. We zijn na de eerste nacht omgeboekt naar een andere kamer, maar erg van harte ging het niet. In de nieuwe kamer was de airco kapot.

Het zwembad is verouderd en je kijkt tegen een bouwval aan. Ook hier staat de pianomuziek de hele dag erg hard.

Pros:

O hotel e lindo e muito bem localizado. Vale super a pena. Fiquei na suite junior, que tem um tamanho otimo. O hotel tem elevador. Cafe da manha otimo. Tudo organizado. Eles tem cantores no bar do hotel. O que da um charme extra.

Cons:

O unico senao e o banheiro, que a porta do box nao veda a agua direito, mas nada q um tapete de banho no chao nao resolva.

Expensive and not worth it
Cons:

When I checked in, they had lost my reservation, and I had to wait for an hour while they found another room. Terrible service.
But the worst thing that they didn’t return my deposit to my card and kept responding in the chat with irrelevant and nonsensical messages.
Actually money was stolen for no reason.
The worst experience I ever had.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, in a fantastic location.
Pros:

The property was stunning: decor, ambiance, and overall facilities. Even the breakfast was to an excellent standard.

Cons:

The only critic I have, is that we were questioned when returning back to the hotel by the front concierge. Other guests in front of us were not. We may not have like the part after a full day excursion but we were also full paying guests

I am very glad we chose to stay there. It made our vacation very enjoyable.
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located in the old city of Panama. It is a beautiful building inside and out. It is very well kept. I enjoyed the pool every day. They also had live musicians playing all day. The staff was very helpful and very nice.

Best stay in Panama City
Pros:

The location could not be better. You are literally at most a few hundred feet from anything in Casco Viejo, and just opposite the cathedral on a lively square. All of Casco Viejo is heavily policed 24/7, and feels safe at all times, as long as you don’t stray outside the tourist areas. The hotel is charming and recently renovated. Rooms are small but not crammed, and modernly furnished. Everything worked in ours: Air conditioning, power outlets, hot water, WiFi, a small balcony onto a quiet street. Lots of choice for breakfast, very nice and clean lobby and other common areas. Everyone on the staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended.

Would be nice to have a water/coffee station in the lobby

The check in ruined my stay!

Breakfast, good selection and efficient friendly staff.

Cons:

Check in, the person was inefficient, unfriendly and rude. The person who checked me in overcharged me by $600 and then said it was my fault and hotel policy. The same person was there when I checked out and was once again rude and inefficient. No personality or social skills, this person should not be the first face representing the hotel, it left a bad taste about the hotel from day one. They basically ignored me for the first few minutes I was standing there and played with their phone on check in and played with the credit card machine when I checked out. I was invisible, not a valued guest. I have never experienced anything like it, there was no one else checking in or out at the time, it is not as if they were busy. The check in person must hate their job or the hotel management, you have to enjoy your job to do a good job.

Fantastic experience. We'd definitely return; especially if they addressed the few defects.
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful, the location perfect, and the food and service excellent. We had a balcony room overlooking a very active square. Others might not have liked the almost constant noise and activity from the square, but we enjoyed it. The room was relatively small, but sufficient for our needs. The area was extremely walkable and it was easy to hail a cab or catch a rideshare vehicle.

Cons:

It'd been great had the hotel decorated the lovely balconies with outdoor furniture and plants. My wife and I are outdoor types and it was a shame we had to request chairs to sit outside. The chairs were pulled from the conference rooms and weren't made for outdoor seating. The shower seemed to drain slowly. It improved slightly after we called housekeeping to address it, but we still stood in a bit of water.

Ein schönes altes Traditionshotel mit viel Charakter.

Die Lage, der Empfangsraum, die tägliche dezente Live Musik. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Gemeinschaftsflächen.

Das unfreundliche Personal an der Rezeption. Das Zimmer war zu dunkel.
