This is a beautiful iconic hotel in the best location in Casco Viejo. The staff is wonderful. Mario at Reception was particularly helpful and friendly. Breakfast offered excellent selection and was delicious.

Perfect location for 2 nights

Cons:

Room loc. My room was purposefully not photographed. All advertised rooms are bigger with balconies. My a/c and shower needed a maintenance man to make it warmer. Shower had a trick, turn on full cold then switch to hot, and to warm up room need to select “cool” on thermostat.

Pros:

La habitación era muy confortable, apesar del ruido excesivo de la puerta del baño. La cama muy cómoda, habitación limpia y con todo lo necesario para una estadía agradable.
El desayuno es muy recomendado, gran variedad y el personal atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar.

Cons:

El personal del front desk no es agradable con el huésped local, se nota la preferencia por huéspedes extranjeros. Pésima atención, no saludan con cortesía ni te preguntan acerca de tu estadía. No te miran a los ojos. Realmente la experiencia con Alfredo no fue lo que esperaba para terminar mi fecha de aniversario.

Don’t leave anything in the hotel

The location and amenities were amazing. It is in the perfect location. The rooms are great.

Cons:

Right as I left Panama City I had realized I had left important items in my room. I have contacted them many times yet there numbers are not synced correctly. Messaging them on WhatsApp with no responses. I have created multiple forms for lost items and no responses. They were so attentive for my stay and now nothing.
