Unfortunately, we only had one night in Kilkenny, but I am so glad I booked this hotel. The perfect location, the hotel
Pros:

The property was so beautiful in the old world style. I appreciated the old historic building and for the price, the excellent location right in the center of town was appreciated.

Cons:

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about this property. Convenient parking right across the street, I clean hotel with friendly staff and a lovely bar. It was just great!

Tolle Unterkunft mitten in der Stadt.
Pros:

Die freundlichen Mitarbeitenden, die nette Atmosphäre, das leckere Frühstück, das gute Restaurant und die Lage mitten in Kilkenny.

Beim Duschen war das Wasser gerade kalt, aber das härtet ab.

Fine, solid choice for a fabulous city
Pros:

The location for exploring lovely Kilkenny couldn't be beat. Right near the castle, walkable to shops and pubs etc., and with a cozy old-world vibe of its own. We had a fine stay.

Cons:

Just be aware that parking can be tricky in this area, and we were on our own in this regard (as we had been warned).

A perfect central hotel if you want to be close to everything
Pros:

It’s central to everything in the city, rooms were nicely decorated.

Cons:

A noisy fan right outside our room. The bed in our room was too small for two grown people. I should have said it earlier, and that was my fault because it was possible we could have changed rooms, however it was a comfortable bed and the bathroom was lovely. It was pretty good value for the price I paid. Nice that you give a welcome drink voucher too, we didn’t use it because we had gone out to dinner, but I think this is a nice touch.
The breakfast was mediocre, nothing was hot, mostly cold, with a hint of warmth. My husband ordered poached egg that was completely overcooked. He’s a chef, so was really unimpressed. Didn’t bother mentioning this at checkout. Nothing about the breakfast impressed me really.

Wonderful Character Hotel right in Town
Pros:

Lovely heritage hotel right in down and close to castle. The property has an award winning bar and restaurant. Rooms very large, staff with friendly and breakfast was very nice. Highly recommend.
