Pleasant and comfortable.
Pros:

A very nice hotel, with perfect central location and exceptionally friendly staff.

Cons:

The only thing I can mention is that the elevator in the hotel is probably the slowest one I have seen.

Could do better.
Pros:

The location is great.
Ember restaurant is lovely.
The house- keeping staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The room was over a very busy, very loud street and because the weather was so hot, we had to leave the windows open as there was no air conditioning.
There are no fridges in the rooms.
The bar staff didn't clear any tables in the bar in the evening.

Beautiful historic hotel in a perfect location. Lovely sized rooms and comfortable. Great staff and service in the hotel, pub and restaurant. The breakfasts were incredible. Lovely furnishings and decor.

Cons:

Our room didn’t have a/c during a heatwave and the ceiling fan was very loud and disturbing for sleep. I think another style of fan would be better if a/c can’t be put into the rooms.

Pros:

breakfast was delicious, staff were very friendly. we were late for dinner but they still accommodated us . It was 30degrees and there was ceiling fan and another fan in the room.
