Hotel ma doskonałe położenie w samym centrum miasta. Smaczne śniadanie, w tym na ciepło z karty.
Brak parkingu - obok jest parking płatny za który zapłaciłam 17 euro za dobę. Uważam, iż hotel powinien tę opłatę przejąć.
Mieliśmy 3 osobowy pokój, podwójne łóżko było na prawdę małe.
Brak adaptera do kontynentalnych wtyczek, recepcja powiedziała, że wszystkie adaptery im goście zabrali i skierowała mnie do sklepu!
Mimo że mieliśmy rezerwację i opłatę z góry na 3 osoby, w pokoju były tylko dwa komplety ręczników. Próba połączenia telefonicznego z recepcją po 3 minutach wysłuchiwania reklam została przez nas przerwana i musieliśmy iść do recepcji po ręczniki.
Ten hotel nie ma klimatyzacji, a okna otwierają się na minimum (są złączone kablem). Przy suficie wiatrak obsługiwany pilotem przymocowanym na linkę (jak długopis na poczcie!). Brak sejfu i lodówki! W łazience wanna z prysznicem i kotara- nie jest to zbyt higieniczne a przede wszystkim woda leje się na podłogę. W pokoju ze ściany wystaje pokrętło, chyba do ogrzewania, ale kaloryfery są po drugiej stronie pomieszczenia. Meble w pokoju mają już swoje lata. Było niewielu gości więc nie odczuliśmy hałasu, ale drzwi kiepsko wyciszają i rano słyszałam trzaski drzwi. Na polskie warunki hotel nie dostałby więcej niż 3 gwiazdki.
Perfect location, hotel spotlessly clean, bedroom a good size and spotless too.
Check in was made so easy. We booked in 9 people to the Ember Restaurant for evening dinner, beautiful food & very well presented… I will 100% be back to stay & dine here.
There was a complication made with booking.com and all our rooms (4) were all cancelled (12am) !!!! On a very busy weekend in Kilkenny where all hotels were solidly booked out. I only noticed cancellation emails for the four rooms at 7:30am from the booking agent, got in touch with the hotel straight away hoping for a miracle ….. Aaron from the hotel gave me a call back a short while later, he got it all sorted for me, panic over, and at a better rate €€ than booking.com.

The hotel rooms do not have ac. It’s totally fine 99% of the year but can be a little warm during the heatwaves.

We were next to the elevator so it was VERY noisy and that plus poor soundproofing made the hallway noise bad. Slamming doors too. Bees outside the window didn’t allow us to open windows so it was hot.
The location of this hotel is awesome. Within walking distance to some great shopping, the beautiful cathedral, the castle, and lots of food options.
The breakfast was great, and the staff was beyond helpful trying to accommodate a serious nut allergy in our group of seven people.
They had live music in the evening, and the restaurant is a nice atmosphere.
The only draw back here was having to park our car up the street and carry our luggage to the hotel. There just wasn’t a good spot to pull over and unload at the time, and the hotel does not have parking for its guests on site. However, the location is still worth the inconvenience! And there are two parking areas nearby that were adequate.
