The property was lovely and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was amazing and probably the highlight of our stay
We booked deluxe pool access rooms and at the time of booking there was no mention that this area is a quiet space. It is more for people who want to sit poolside reading books. We also stayed in a lagoon access room for a couple of nights. If you stay in building 2, there is no sun on the lagoon pool and it was too cold to swim in. Building 1 did have some sun on the pool but not much. The other pools at the front of the resort were good but you don’t pay higher price to stay in rooms with pool access to walk all the way to the other end of the resort to use the pool
I have mixed feelings about this hotel, however I would not return.
What’s good:
Beautiful public areas, lobby, pool , restaurant and gardens. The location is also good and the staff are friendly.
What’s bad:
The food isn’t the best, breakfast is mostly good but outside of that a bit disappointing.
The hotel runs a really weird deposit system where you have to buy vouchers rather than leave your card details as with most hotels. If you over buy on vouchers you don’t get your money back. You do get a small bonus for buying the vouchers - to avoid an no refund situation-buy a small one then pay as you go.
Now this is really annoying-deluxe rooms are situated in a different wing of the hotel, away from everything. The rooms are small , wardrobe weirdly in the bathroom and small - nowhere for cases etc.
The rooms are also really noisy in a courtyard around a pool, so sound travels. Pool is full of kids in the morning and during our stay - noisy guys at night until 1-2 in the morning- not on.
What is really annoying about this room type and it is not clearly advertised, is that you can’t have breakfast in the Sands Restaurant y the sea - you have to have it I. The restaurant at the front of the hotel - I have never experienced this in any hotel and have stayed in a lot of hotels.
The hotel runs functions and hosts delegates like a lot of hotels in the area. This takes up a lot of time and attention of the staff. It also means in gets busy. We couldn’t check in until past 4pm after travelling for almost a day was irritating.
There was an Indian event on at the hotel during our stay. It was big and made things unenjoyable and uncomfortable. My teenage daughters were stared at, the pools were taken over(and spat in) it was noisy and we were pushed in front of and tables and sun beds were taken - sometimes intimidating!!
On top of this the beach is having construction works and not at its best.
I did speak to reception about the issues but to no avail. So be aware.
FYI - great sushi restaurant in mall, temple garden restaurant lovely and fab Greek restaurant in seminyak.
Very good service and value for money
Breakfast was awesome, facilities and pool was great.
Rooms a little small.
Hotel and facilities are excellent. Just had the most amazing massage by Ria!. Every detail was expertly attended to, down to even the room temp. Would not hesitate to come again, in fact I am !
Close to restaurants
The beachfront isn't ready yet for swimming
FAntastyczny hotel, wszystkim serdecznie polecam
Lovely to be away from street noises. Felt secluded enough with beautiful large well maintained gardens, nice pool areas and still close access to main street and beach. Room was so spacious, and very well equipped. Bed wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom was well set out with plenty of supplies and super spacious with great storage too. Breakfast included was fabulous, with so much choice.
Check-in took quite a fair bit of time and had to wait for our room.
Beautiful hotel, nice spa (thank you Ria & Weda) and boxing class. Rooms and beach so so. Everything else great. Staff, drinks, food, pool.
The staff at the kids club was a bit rude as my son is a special needs child. Their behaviour towards my son and me and my wife was unacceptably rude.
