Excellent location.
Pros:

The staff are helpful and friendly. It is a great location, a mere 15-minute walk from the Old Town.

Cons:

If you get a road facing room it can be noisy. I have had both a quiet and a noisy room.

Very dingy hotel, with dark room, worn sheets and unhelpful staff - would not recommend it to anyone
Pros:

The location was central and near the old town but quite run down; the streets around the hotel were not walkable

Cons:

The entire hotel was dingy and run down. The room was musty and dark with some stains on the wall. There was only a single sheet on the bed with no undersheet, and the sheets were old and yellowed. My wife asked for a second sheet but was told this was not possible and got a rash through contact with the mattress. The bed was uncomfortable. We had booked for two nights but checked out after the first because of the condition of the room; however the hotel refused to reimburse us for the second night. The staff were quite unhelpful in general.

Pros:

I had a very pleasant stay at Twins Mangga Dua. For a budget hotel, it offers excellent value for money. The location is very strategic, close to Kota Tua Jakarta and shopping areas. There is also a busway station right in front of the hotel, which made getting around Jakarta easy and convenient.

The bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help. The hotel also has an elevator, which is a great convenience, especially for guests with luggage.

Overall, Twins Mangga Dua is a great choice for travelers looking for an affordable, comfortable, and well-located hotel in Jakarta. Highly recommended!

Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at Twins Hotel Mangga Dua. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and affordable. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile.
The location is perfect — very close to Mangga Dua shopping area, Kota Tua, and many tourist attractions in Jakarta. It was easy to find food, transportation, and entertainment nearby.
The room was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, WiFi was fast, and the bed was very comfortable for resting after a busy day. Even though the price is budget-friendly, the service felt much better than expected.
I really enjoyed my experience here and will definitely come back again on my next trip to Jakarta.

Good location but bad attitude of stuff ruin good feelings
Pros:

Very near to kuta - historical centre, easy to find

Cons:

Unfortunately staff didn’t try to return my deposit or send me an invoice for my stay.. also there was intense smell in my shower from drainage..

Pros:

Heel aardig personeel. Ze spraken Engels en ik mocht eerder inchecken. Ik mocht kiezen tussen een kamer met of zonder raam. Met raam was fijn voor wat frisse lucht maar het was erg gehorig. De kamer zonder raam was vreselijk echt net een bezemkast.

Cons:

De locatie was niet goed. Je hebt er weinig in de buurt en het is heel armoedig. Het bed was ontzettend smerig, er lagen allemaal haren in en er zaten vlekken in de lakens. Ook de grond was smerig, de gordijnen zaten onder de vlekken. De badkamer had geen handdoeken en de douche werd niet warm.

I liked the staff, the location, the hot shower and that a staff member was always on duty

Cons:

The place could do with being cleaned on a regular basis.

There are no fire safety measures in place such as fire extinguishers, emergency exit signs and what to do messages in the event of a fire. A fire in the building could lead to fatalities.

Value for money, but not the most clean place to sleep.
Pros:

the reasonable rate is attractive for a layover.
if you want to save money, its a ideal place.
walkable distance to cafe and eatery and Indomart around. so quite convenient.

Cons:

its isn't near the airport, therefore the traveling also cost quite a bit.
no soundproofing, isn't suitable for picky traveler.
cleanliness can be improve, the bed the toilet the towel doesn't seem very clean.
