Clean up after the peta
Pros:

For years I have always enjoyed the location and facilities of the Showboat. It is family oriented and was always a comfortable easily accessed hotel. My daughter enjoyed the Lucky Snake Arcade. Everything I always did was in that immediate area. It was always an excellent place to come and relax at an affordable price with things to do for my teenage child.

Cons:

I booked 2 rooms. The first room was fine and I checked the 2nd room and it had a gagging smell. I asked to have the room changed because I felt it had not been cleaned. I saw the table was not wiped and I was disgusted. I was told I had to wait for housekeeping to check it. After about 15 minutes the room was changed. After that, I began to notice many animals. I had never noticed animals at the Showboat in my prior stays. The rugs are stained. As I have no problem if you are going to allow pets, you must clean more frequently and shampoo the carpets. People that don't have pets should not have to stay in the wing of the people bringing pets. People in general can be lazy to not clean after their pets but it is appalling to see the rugs and smell the smells of the Orleans Tower. I probably will not stay here again.

It served it purpose for a weekend getaway
Pros:

The room was as described very neat and clean. We were very comfortable and cozy. Being as though it was kid friendly we didn’t hear anything from them.

Cons:

The beds were a little uncomfortable, mattresses needs to be updated and I really don’t like the fact that the amenities wasn’t filled and we didn’t have access to additional supplies.

Your discriminitory hiring practices. The only African American MALE that I saw was a police officer. That type of hiring practice is a deal breaker for me regardless what ever else you might offer

Because she couldn’t spell my email correctly and I kept correcting her and proceeded to act snobbish and try to make me spell out everything I was saying being ignorant and rude

Cons:

I rented a balcony suite for my wedding weekend. The balcony flooded, then the bedroom started to flood. They weren't able to get me a new balcony suite so I was downgraded to a regular room.

Cons:

Rooms need work. We had a major leak during the rain. Called desk. No one came to check. Rooms were clean…just need repairs/updates. Elevators were slow and some broken.
