The Spa Facilities are not included in the accommodation rate and is an additional surcharge of £20 for 60 minutes and £25 for 90 minutes use per person.

Accessibility
We do everything we can to assist guests with limited mobility. We have ample designated disabled parking spaces and there is lift access from the car park to reception level and the first floor bedrooms. Although none of our rooms are currently specifically modified to accommodate wheelchairs, we do have certain rooms that may be suitable for guests with limited mobility. However we strongly recommend that prior to making a booking you speak to us directly to discuss your requirements. This will to enable us to advise you on the basis of your individual needs and to make the best possible arrangements for your ease and comfort.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels in der kleinen Parklandschaft ist wunderschön. Das Haus hat ein sehr historisches Interieur, sehr gut erhalten mit Lounge, Speisesaal und Bibliothek.
Unser Zimmer war geräumig und sauber.

Cons:

Es gab ein full English breakfast und eine kleine Croissant-Auswahl. Eine größere Vielfalt und Abwechslung beim Frühstücksbuffet hätte ich mir bei dem Hotelpreis gewünscht (Käse, frisches Gemüse, mehr Obst).
Wir hatten leider nicht den schönen Ausblick auf das Meer, sondern auf einen Hinterhof. Das Meer war im Übrigen immer recht weit weg.

Enjoyed our stay and benefitted from some lovely weather.
Pros:

It was clean, comfortable and in a quiet location. Lovely gardens.

Cons:

Just a couple of issues with staff in bar and at checking out . Could be they were new and still learning their roles, seemed unsure in what they were doing.

I loved this hotel and would stay again.
Pros:

Excellent management; I experienced tiny problems but a senior member of staff soon sorted them.
Lovely food and super service from the restaurant and bar staff, not only quick and efficient but very friendly too.
Even if the restaurant is very busy they can offer extra table in the bar, but this is an elegant bar (not like in a pub).
The decor of the building is amazing, inside and out, it makes you feel very special as a guest.

Cons:

I had two separate one-night stays, and on the 2nd stay there was no bedside table in my single room. However, when I asked a senior member of staff one was immediately provided, but I thought it was a pity that no-one had thought it necessary to have one in the room.

Excellent value for money Beautiful situation. The history of the house was very interesting too
Pros:

I really liked the hotel Peaceful location, but near to Grange. Access to the main road was a bit difficult but it’s not the hotels fault ! My friends and I were further away from each other and we would have preferred to be nearer It made things like unloading the luggage from the car. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty We would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Rooms/ cottage a little too far away from each other.

Feel like a princess staying here
Pros:

Absolutely perfect location, with perfect view everything felt luxury and nothing was to much for the staff, I'd taken my mum for her birthday and they went above and beyond to make her feel like a princess, she didn't want to leave, nice touches to the bathroom with elemis shampoo and body wash, breakfast was wonderful and lots to choose from all exceptional quality, netherwood is the best hotel we have ever stayed at I will continue to keep coming here.

Cons:

It's not so much what I didn't like, but the spa could definitely do with a good update, the beds some was totally broken and one if the aromatherapy rooms didn't seem to be working, also the hot tub you couldn't press it manually it wouldn't come on, the thunderstorm shower 1st setting scalded my back I think it may be set wrong I left with marks all over my back from it, the hotel was amazing but the spa wasn't very great especially if people are traveling far for it, (only 12 people allowed at 1 time)

Pros:

I was given a fantastic room, really big with a good view over the bay. The Bathroom was beautifully fitted and clean. The breakfast and dinner were excellent as on my previous visits - I have been here several times before and I have always been very happy, and have recommended it to friends as well.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the Library adn Lounge were out of use, and were seemingly set up for an event that didnt happen. This was a pity as it limited the number of p[laces for a quiet after dinner drink,

Lovely restful stay
Pros:

Exceptional property, very beautiful gardens with exotic planting, maintained to high standard. Lovely hotel, gorgeous original feature lounges with fantastic fireplaces and cosy sofas and chairs. Courteous polite staff , loved our stay. Grange over sands has a beautiful promenade and lovely scenery, a lot more than I expected

Cons:

Absolutely nothing, but would be advantageous if there was a pool

Just the tonic!
Pros:

Location was great, near a number of things to do i.e. enjoyed hotel gardens which amazingly kept, walk on prom, saw lido now renovated, visited Cartmel and Arnside Beach on way home. The property was very interesting with history of old mill owners house with folly.

Pros:

Je dois dire que tout était parfait. La literie super! Le personnel au taquet. Et le meilleur petit déjeuner que je n'ai jamais mangé dans un hotel! Il y avait du jus d'oranges pressées, j'ai gouté au black pudding (délicieux boudin noir épicé), et même des suprêmes de pomélo, un délice! Je recommande!
