Pros:

Garden and the entrance is nice, full of nature.

Cons:

The rooms are containers with limited space and with very basic facilities for my wife, daughter and me. The first night we had many ants all around the bathroom and room, probably bad luck and affected by the season, it was hard to sleep. For the day after the host helped us and this was fixed.

Breakfast is okay, a standard and regular costarican breakfast but the tables are unstable and this is annoying while eating.

During the last night, we suffered a local electricity shutdows and this affected the water supply and electricity since mid night, no AC and no water at all. We had to do check out without taking a bath and without receiving any support from the host. Not even a recommendation, we just left with a bad experience. Terrible customer service.

I have experience visiting many other places and I consider this place is overpriced and with a terrible customer service. That is a personal opinion.

If you dont expect a fancy place, this is okay. We will be trying another place on our next visit to Guiones.

Os quartos são em container sendo dividido por uma parede de drywall muito fina. Tive a má sorte de ter um vizinho barulhento ao lado, eu escutava tudo do vizinho.

Easily the worst hotel/service experience

Avoid at all costs!

Cons:

The condition of the room was run down, old, bug infested, and the toilet/AC were not working properly. We booked an 8 day stay and checked out after the first night. The hotel had not responded to any of my requests for refunding the 7 days we didn’t stay. We arrived late in the evening and had no choice but to stay that one night, requesting a refund of the remaining days that evening. We have yet to receive any communication from the hotel. Beware the pictures of the room are either one unit or very old, and barely looked like the pictures. We were able to book the rest of our stay at Ride On and that place is fabulous!

Tuvimos una estadía excelente. El alojamiento es hermoso, limpio y muy cómodo. Este hotel tiene un desayuno increíble, realmente vale la pena quedarse acá. Nosotros estábamos a pie, está cerca de la playa y del centro pero son unas cuantas cuadras y en subida a la vuelta. Para nosotros no fue un tema pero no estaría mal alquilar auto, cuatri o algún medio de transporte. Vamos a volver seguro! Muchas gracias por todo

Pros:

Bardzo fajna lokalizacja, blisko plaży. Duży plus za śniadania - oferta jest bardzo prosta, ale wszystko jest pyszne i każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Pani, która przygotowuje posiłki bardzo sympatyczna, robi je ekspresowo, a są naprawdę smaczne. Na miejscu jest przepiękny kot, który zdecydowanie umila pobyt.

Cons:

Wiele rzeczy niestety nadaje się do renowacji. Widać, że nikt dawno niczego nie odświeżał. W ofercie hotelu jest „mini bar” w którym niczego nie ma. Pod prysznicem są pojemniki na żel pod prysznic i szampon (chyba) ale nie są opisane i niewiadomo do końca czy to żel, czy odżywka czy szampon. Nie ma szczotki do czyszczenia toalety. Wiele miejsc w hotelu wymaga posprzątania (miałam okazję zabierać maty do jogi z recepcji no i tam chyba dawno nikt nie zaglądał). Zastanawiam się czy jest ktoś odpowiedzialny za basen? Nie wyglądał na czysty. Kolejnego dnia liście i kamienie były wciąż w tym samym miejscu.
