4 - 6 room nights: 48 hours
7 - 10 room nights: 1 week
11 + room nights: 2 weeks
Room nights are defined as the number of rooms reserved multiplied by the number of nights booked. In the event of no-shows, the first night’s accommodations rate will be charged in full.

It is a wonderful location and quite easy Access from the M4 and Cardiff. Plenty of Parking and convenient to many nearby attractions such as Henrhyd Falls and Pen y Fan. The Gardens are nice and full of Wildlife. The Sauna faciliities and Pool was a nice surprise.
We were disappointed with the room as if looked like a 1980's Merthy refit... Breakfast was average, (instant Coffee and Juice that tastes like Squash). Dinner was ok... Starter was burnt, Main was overpriced and dessert was a little too sweet...
The location
We could NOT use the swimming pool because there is NO air circulation or air conditioning whatsoever! We struggled to breath in the swimming pool location (and could only stay 3 mins by pool at max, before having breathing problems.) No air con in room in a heat wave. It was difficult to breath, we brought our own fans, plus had a fan from Nant Ddu. The double room was also two single beds pushed together, the beds separated half way through 2 of the nights, there was a 4" gap between the beds!

Not much to like here apart from the location
The hotel was run down, carpets were filthy, food was overcooked, room was tired, I mean not much else to say on this one but worst of all was the Reception Lady not being present for check in. I waited 10 minutes before I got fed up and had to walk into the kitchen past the Bar (which was also unmanned) to see the receptionist in the stuffing her face.
No apology either which wasnt the best start!!!

We liked the bed comfy. We liked the staff in spa. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi lovely
Food. Breakfast no mushrooms or juice. No butter but cheap margarine. Croissants stale. Sausages I would say had 10% meat content. Evening meal completely over priced. Veg under cooked and cold. Poor service, friendly enough but so slow. We had to pay for towel and robe to use in spa. For both days. £5 per person. Awful!

The food was amazing.
The room was noisy at the front, and the shower was not as advertised.
Peaceful location and convenient for nearby hikes
Standard of facilities was poor. The spa was really disappointing, there was a hole in the swimming pool floor which was also not very clean. Jacuzzi didn’t work properly. Our bathroom had black mould. Breakfast was disappointing on the Sunday as they had run out of everything.
