Dinner and breakfast excellent.
Pros:

Location and friendly staff.

Cons:

7 of us stayed and had 5 rooms. 4 of the rooms were damp and had very strong chemical smell

Would stay again. For leisure good quiet place.
Pros:

Room was exactly as expected. Getting my breakfast to go when I had to leave really early, and it was ready right on time. Coffee when leaving hotel in the middle of the night and no issues checking out. Wonderful.
The running fountain outside was soothing to fall asleep to.

Cons:

I had trouble getting proper VAT receipts for my food in the hotel restaurant. Which it seems there was no accessible way for staff to get them printed, and in the end I felt I was wasting their time with my requests. Perhaps not a lot people use the hotel for work and these situations are very seldom, but my employer requires VAT records for their bookkeeping ... So this was a let down.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel very peaceful and relaxing lovely staff throughout the hotel ate both evenings in the restaurant & breakfast both mornings food was 10/10 staff were so nice and friendly. Looking forward to returning in July for my partners birthday.

It was a very disappointing experience.
Pros:

Breakfast was good and served v efficiently.

Cons:

Very poor nights sleep . We stayed in room 201 . There is a boiler ( loud ) noise constantly turning on and off every other minute. We brought it to the attention of the night manager. He didn’t provide a solution . We asked for ear plugs or even some cotton wool but were directed to a vending machine that didn’t sell either . He did say another man had complained and said that same noise nearly drove home mad .
The room was very dusty and stuffy .

Great location. Girl who checked us in was lovely and another girl who helped us get more towels. That’s probably about it

Rooms are filthy, carpet was wet and damp. Bathrooms floors sticky and rust all over the room/bathroom. Towels were damp in room and literally thrown around the bathroom.

We went to the bar around 6pm with the kids for a drink , 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 kids. The woman at the desk for the bar was condescending, rude, and honestly made it known we were not welcome.
I said there was 7 of us all together and she looked at me and in an abrupt tone “ how many ??? And I said 4 adults and.. and she wouldn’t let me finish and she brought us to a table of 4 chairs, I stood there looking and she walked away not even an enjoy or are you all having a bite to eat. So I called another waitress ( nice girl too ) and said we said 7 and she said to the woman who had brought us in there is 7 and she said to the waitress “ oh now it’s 7 is it? “. Extremely condescending and rude. I’ve never experienced this behavior towards me and or my family before. Her attitude needs to be checked in lien if she wants to stay customer facing.

I ordered 3 pints and 3 coke zeros and was made carry the big heavy tray from the bar on my own. Honestly the bar experience ruined the entire trip to this hotel for me.
