Pros:

Staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Food was excellwnt, great location, rooms were comfortable

Cons:

Hotel could do with some maintenance.. a littke tired looking. Eg taps not having the tops on them. Grouting needs replacing. Toilet was wobbly. Wall plug hanging off wall, only lamps in rooms no ceiling lights so very dim. There are no spa treatments available and we were looking forward to booking these as part of our trip., there was limited thermal spa access on weekends only. These are all so easily fixed. Otherwise a great place

Killaloe spa is beautiful with great wait staff, however the lack of spa services, moldy smell, broken heater, and door
Pros:

The location is good for day trips. The property was beautiful. The morning breakfast staff were very friendly. The breakfast selection was delicious and room service is available for all meals.

Cons:

Our room smelled damp. The heater in our room did not work and it took them three days to give us a portable heater. We came back two times after being away for the day and the cleaning staff left our door unlocked. When we booked we were advised the spa services (one of the reasons we booked here) would be closed for the first two days of our trip. When we arrived they said the spa services were closed indefinitely. When I asked about a refund for lack of services, I was told they put it on their website and were not liable. I had not reviewed the website AFTER booking.

Pros:

breakfast and dinner were wonderful, staff were lovely,

Cons:

room was over the front entrance to the hotel/bar so was very loud, also no air con which normally isnt an issue but in heatwave ireland a fan would be nice.
