Pros:

Comfortable well equipped rooms, Good location close to road connections and country side. friendly well run pub, good breakfast in the morning.

Cons:

The staff put us next to a wedding directly on to the venue so the noise was ridiculous. When I complained they said that there was a note on my file to say that I had agreed to the room over a phone call as I wanted a patio and was told there was an event on. This is simply not true and was a lie. This was told to me by a surly individual who used this excuse to try to refuse’s discount.

Excellent gastro pub with rooms.
Pros:

Nice facilities, clean, welcoming staff. A great place to stay

Cons:

Room backed onto the beer garden, so no chance of an early night as it’s loud, not a big issue at all. WiFi not working in the room also a minor inconvenience. Neither would stop us visiting again
