Nothing, it was all great.
Very comfy rooms with good facilities.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely meal in the restaurant
All good really - we thought it might be noisy with football on outdoor TV for England match but all handled very well
Very spacious rooms and unlimited cabs of water in fridge .
Nothing
Staff, service, room, ambience ..... all good.
Disappointed with the hot food.
We ate dinner for two evenings and overall the quality was only average.
Breakfasts varied in quality but generally ok.
Rooms, food, location & staff
Nothing to not like
I like this hotel, its always well booked so its hard to get in here. dont stay here if you cant do stairs, or at least have a chat with the team, theres a few rooms that are up and down stairs ( why do i never pack light)
Ultimately theres nothing i didnt like - if i were to be fussy i would say the heating could be a little better in deepest winter, but other than that its great
Quintessentially British village experience
