Friendly greeting from the staff. Room was lovely. Clean. Tidy.
I knew there was a risk of noise as at the back of a pub. But kids running right past the door at gone midnight was not expected. Walls were paper thin. I could hear the people using the bathroom and talking. The complimentary shower gel was.empty. the light bulb in the show was broken. I let the staff know when I left but she didn't comment.
Decor, space and comfort. Access to water in the room.
Water in the shower was too hot.
Large well equipped room ,easy check in very clean and well appointed bathroom
I did notice that an unattended computer on the desk which could be seen from public areas was left open with my personal details visible. The TV had no ITV channels for some reason.
Everything
There wasn’t anything to not like
All together a warm experience, above expectations. I arrived very late and the staff was very adaptive to my situation, communicated well and gave great instructions. In the end the man waited for me and helped me in person.
Really good location for the event we attended (Great Central Railway). The room we stayed in (The Scullery) was lovely, very clean & spacious, the pub itself is very nice with a large garden. We had dinner in the evening which was very good too!
Nothing!
Close to event
Low ceilings in room
Very friendly staff.
Comfortable well equipped rooms, Good location close to road connections and country side. friendly well run pub, good breakfast in the morning.
Nice facilities, clean, welcoming staff. A great place to stay
Room backed onto the beer garden, so no chance of an early night as it’s loud, not a big issue at all. WiFi not working in the room also a minor inconvenience. Neither would stop us visiting again
The location.
The staff put us next to a wedding directly on to the venue so the noise was ridiculous. When I complained they said that there was a note on my file to say that I had agreed to the room over a phone call as I wanted a patio and was told there was an event on. This is simply not true and was a lie. This was told to me by a surly individual who used this excuse to try to refuse’s discount.
no fault
nothing
Bedroom good size
So clean and very plush.
A tad expensive.
Lovely rooms, great staff, delicious food. All wonderful!
Prefect for my needs
There was nothing to dislike
