I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing hospitality, great views, really nice hotel, great air con, the food in the restaurant is amazing! We stayed here as a pit stop to get to the airport for safari and for a trip to stone town.
It was my birthday and ALL of the staff sang to me and brought me a cake it was so kind and such a nice welcome to Zanzibar. Thank you everyone!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed on the city side. I would not recommend as it was very loud between traffic and loud speakers. The view on the other side was beautiful. The hotel is a bit worn and outdated. But it was clean and comfortable. The room was large and included a seating area. For the money, I would stay here again. It is about 30 minutes from the airport. Access to the Indian Ocean is rocky so you need water shoes to access.

The staffs were very helpful and always smiling to help out. The environment is cozy and very welcoming. Room services is topnotch and swimming pool area is a beautiful sight to behold in the evenings .

This time around it wasn't -ac not working and leakage too.the tv wasn't working my husband couldn't even watch football.

It was an amazing experience , the rooms are spacious. The breakfast was delicious with varieties and the staffs are always smiling.

I had a wonderful time in Zanzibar and received good service at the hotel. If there’s one thing I enjoyed most were the meals and good swim in the evening.

Strong internet and quite a good working space in the hotel room made work easier to do.

We absolutely loved our stay, splendid from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well put together. The room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, and we genuinely enjoyed the overall atmosphere. The service was warm and professional, and it was easy to relax and feel at home. Little details like the calm environment and the neat presentation made a big difference and added to the experience.
That said, there was one issue worth mentioning: the air conditioner in our room was leaking. It didn’t completely ruin the stay, but it was noticeable and could become inconvenient if not fixed. We’re sharing this mainly as feedback, because everything else was excellent, and we’d love to see the standard remain consistently high.

I spent 4 days here after a tour through Tanzania and Zanzibar. I was blown away with the service from the staff! The hotel itself is definitely livable, but the experience is made from the attentiveness and friendly service from the staff. As soon as I was shown to my room I discovered that the airconditioning unit was leaking and within 10mins maintenance was in my room fixing the problem. Special mention to Mussa and Shengwe, who somehow could resolve all my issues and did so with exceptional competency and a friendly attitude - even though some of my requests were way beyond what a standard request could be from a guest! 10/10 recommend if you value human interaction and customer service :)

Such a wonderful experience after such a horrible experience somewhere else on the island. The staff were absolutely amazing especially Mussa and Daniel who went above and beyond to help us.

The rooms were so very clean with toilets that actually flushed and the greatest shower head with HOT running water.

You should be very proud of your entire staff and hotel. They were fabulous.

Been here two weeks, all the staff Is really good! But the waiter Chacha Is the real gem, cheers to him!

Very unprofessional experience. We had a confirmed booking, only to be told later that the hotel decided to give our room to a higher bidder. Cancelling on confirmed guests for more money shows a complete lack of integrity and respect for customers. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience and is not how a reputable hotel should operate. I would not recommend booking here if you want reliability or professionalism.

Stayed a night at the Golden Tulip Resort with my family & had a memorable experience regretted not staying more , the rooms are extra spacious , very clean with comfortable beds , we were received with smiles by all staff, Chef Suleiman is amazing from dinner to a well spread breakfast , bakery items exceptional , special thanks to Nahda & Martha at front desk & hats off to the Manager Mr Castro who is the spearhead in the amazing team . Not a down side but for a better tomorrow the hotel is bit run down (though beautifull as it is) & I'm told they are soon to up date the place , but this comment should not discourage your stay at this well located & spacious property .
