Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Carolina Beach Oceanfront

For 500 dollars a night total ripoff. Had to pay for parking at the hotel as well. Pool was filthy cloudy. Rugs were nasty and the inside of the hotel was old and not a value for 500 a night. Free Breakfast was cheap food that was worse than fast food. This is a Hilton and it was more like a days inn. I will not be coming back.

This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel and for it to be called Marriott is embarrassing. When I checked in, I had to wait a half hour for someone to even help me and then my room was not available that I booked, and instead of telling me, the man just handed me two room keys, which I didn’t understand since I had only booked one sweep. They were not very accommodating and I was told that they could give me a full refund and he knew that the Hampton Inn had availability. The reason I couldn’t accept the two rooms they were giving me was because I had two children with me and they gave me rooms that were not connected. All they could say was they were sorry. The hotel is rundown and when we checked in there are two elevators in one of them was not working today when I got back from being out I come to find out that now the second elevator does not work. My room is on the 10th floor. I was OK to make it up with the kids, but my sister who is 73 could not do it so for the past four hours, she has been sitting in the lobby and when you ask what they say is they’re working on it. Im posting pictures of the gate into the pool area that is in really bad shape. I could take more but it’s just so disturbing to me that that’s enough I could go on with how disgusted I am with this experience but I think that says enough, I would never stay at this hotel again nor recommended to anyone and as far as I’m concerned being a Marriott Gould elite member I can’t even say that I would recommend Marriott at this point.

PERFECT location! Got a beach front room~ EXCELLENT! It was clean and the service was great! There are 100 rooms -- and all 100 were booked! There is designated parking, and 1 car per room! Due to the busy location, it's good that it's actually quiet and quite secure! Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and zero complaints!
Image breakfasts for allll 100 rooms of people wanting a good meal before hitting the beach! Staff working there in the kitchen were unbelievable -- I was so impressed, I asked their names: Erin, Loren, Jill and Tara! Front desk staff were great too!

As soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted by friendly staff. The hotel was very clean for being right on the beach (think sand everywhere). The morning breakfast was good and the options were what you would expect. The location was great! We parked our car and didn’t move it the entire trip. You are literally right on the boardwalk and steps from the beach. We enjoyed the pool(although a bit small) as well as the beach. And there is a tiki bar right at the pool!!

I had a great stay at this hotel! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall experience was excellent. Jeremy at the front desk was especially helpful—he was extremely respectful, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. His customer service really stood out and made the experience even better. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!
