Definitely coming back!
Pros:

Spacious rooms, great free breakfast, great location (even though I was thinking seaside was on the beach but you have to walk across a busy road and about 5 minutes to the actual water), super friendly staff, the room fit everything we could have wished.

Cons:

Check in was a bit long but it was due to a lack of staff that day to clean rooms and get guests into their room. Front desk was great to help us out here though.

Nice place to stay, enjoyed the size of the room and kitchen. Not happy with paid parking.
Pros:

Breakfast was really good, Location was very nice.

Cons:

Was not happy about paying for parking at this location.
We travel a lot in Texas and the charge for parking in this location was a shock.

Oustanding Manager Cecily , Educate yourself about the 50 dolla a day deposit alongside parking fee
Pros:

The front desk lady Cecily made this stay. She went over and beyond to provide exceptional service. Definitely would visit again. Great overrall !

Cons:

The breakfast was good but the food lacked versatility and was very limited. I didn’t get to enjoy much breakfast on my trip due to heartburn caused from the breakfast served. Need more family friendly options.

Pros:

The room was spacious and clean. We have a special needs Daughter that liked her area.

Cons:

We woke up in the middle of the night, smelling burnt wire or something.
The amazing front desk lady came to our room and said that she smelled it as well.
She let us know. There was no maintenance on staff that we could check it out..
We did not feel safe, staying in a hotel where it might catch on fire. And there was no staff on duty that could check on it.
Not even a staff member on call.
My special niece’s daughter and my sister and I had to find another hotel at 1 o’clock in the morning.
The staff member on duty, tried her best, but her hands were tied with the policies of the hotel….. not having anyone that can check to see where the burnt wire smell is coming from.
It’s not acceptable not to have someone on duty or either a contract with a company to come check in emergencies. That is bad business.

Great staff, very clean and spacious rooms. Plenty of parking on the quiet end of the island!
Pros:

Very clean, smelled great! Spacious rooms on the quiet end of town.

Cons:

It was listed as beachfront. We had to cross a 4 lane highway and a large public access parking lot to get to the beach. In reality it is about a 15 min walk even though you can see the ocean.

Perfect for a pre-cruise stay
Pros:

Great sized rooms, bed was comfortable, staff were excellent. There was a convenient shuttle stop across the road for the Galveston trolley.

Location was a bit out of the way, and breakfast was very busy without the infrastructure to support.

This is a great place to stay! Joe was so friendly and extremely helpful! Our teens enjoyed the basketball court. The social hour snacks and drinks were an added plus!

Pros:

The hotel seemed very clean. We have stayed here before and will probably be back. It isn't in the most convenient spot on the island but there are a couple of places that are walkable. For an overnight pre cruise stay it is a good place.

Cons:

The ceiling fan in our room was a bit squeaky. I had to turn it off in the middle of the night because it was keeping me awake. But it was not a big deal.

Couldn’t be better
Pros:

My husband and I came to Galveston for a quick midweek getaway and decided to stay at the Homewood Suites because of its convenient location near the Strand. Check-in was a breeze. Joe at the front desk is a gem! He obviously cares about people and about providing great customer service. Later on I realized I had forgoten to pack a toothbrush, and he cheerfully provided free toothpaste and a toothbrush. Our suite and the hotel in general were spotlessly clean and very quiet. We did not eat breakfast there because of our morning schedule, but it appeared to be more than adequate. Every employee we interacted with was cheerful and pleasant. We will probaby stay here again the next time we come to Galveston.
