Gute Lage zum Wanderstart
Pros:

Wir waren als Wandergruppe dort. Es ist ja immer gut, wenn alle in der selben Unterkunft übernachten können. Die Zimmer waren wohl alle modernisiert, daran gab es m.E. kein Mangel. Das Ort Lonau liegt ja sehr abseits, das hat Vorteile, für manche allerdings weniger. Die rauschende Lonau (der Ort ist nach dem Bach benannt - oder umgekehrt?) bringt Romantik ins Spiel.

Cons:

Während die Zimmer renoviert sind, ist im Außenbereich noch einiges zu bearbeiten. Da hängen Leitungen herum, aber vielleicht wird es ja irgendwann mal fertig. Das Frühstück war ungewöhnlich, aber ich will nicht meckern, empfehle aber zukünftig nicht nur Weizenbrötchen anzubieten, sondern auch Körnerbrötchen.

Da wir tagsüber viel sightseeing gemacht haben, war die Unterkunft erträglich.

1. Die Beschreibung Hotel-Restaurant, von Restaurant keine Spur und das am Ende der Welt.
2. Der äußere Eindruck war nicht ansprechend, kaputte Platten auf dem Weg, viele Beikräuter auf den Ritzen der Treppe.

Hotel am Berg , Herzberg OT Lonau
Pros:

Einfach perfekt . Ruhig gelegen . Super sauber . Und freundlich . Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Frühstück ist völlig ausreichend und liebevoll zubereitet .. Schöne Aussicht vom Balkon und Fenster . Sehr naturell .Jederzeit gerne wieder .
