Palette Legian Beach

The pool had no towels and no service. I would have liked to have eaten and ordered beverages poolside. You can hear the pool pump constantly. The dining staff were inattentive if not disinterested. It was not possible to pay for dining by card so I often dined elsewhere.

Booked and paid for Several months prior . For 4x balcony rooms . Only to find they had given away the rooms we booked and paid for when we arrived ( no refund offered) still charged rate of balcony rooms.If they had told us when we arrived at 10am we could of found alternate accommodation instead didn’t inform us until check in at 2pm They finally offered spa ( foot) massages to our group only delay the time so we had no time to have them before our dinner booking . Which they knew about.
SHEETS & PILLOW cases were FILTHY. One room had no toilet paper on check in would have been quicker to go out and buy our own .
Bed in my sister room collapsed when sat on . All towels were horrible grey colour not white.

While staff tried their best and were friendly , the cleanliness of the room , linen and towels left a lot to be desired. The govern was changed twice in my time as a guest. The towels and linen were old and stained and the pillows were old and lumpy. There was no kettle so I bought my own. The pool was leaking onto the floor I stayed him, level 3 and the yellow marker of leaks was there for my whole stay with a towel catching the leaks. The elevators were dirty as was the floors.

Had balcony room air conditioning flat out was hardly working very uncomfortable room extremely hot all rooms air-conditioning are very old need replacing , down sized room just to get little bit coolness from aircond that worked , large bed mattress balcony room were 2 beds joined together and sunk into which made it even hotter, pillows were hard and very thick and dirty , pool area is very old and dirty went nearby hotel to use other pool facilities , staff not understood English using mainly kids to run the hotel. , security was sleeping most times don’t rely on him for anything , breakfast was a shambles plain basic rice with egg and coffee taste bad

We checked in with our friends separately, we ended up getting 3 individual rooms we needed 2 and our friends needed 1. We were giving 2 rooms on different floors and told they couldn’t get two rooms together but our friends room was literally across the hall on one of the floors so why didn’t we get the 2 rooms on the same floor and our friends got the other floor.

Also was very noisy in the morning with hundreds of kids in the hallway.

Pool shut down again for maintenance, seems to be a regular thing the 2 times I visited this year.
Also the quality of room clean has slipped a lot since the zest days. Towels seems hard and dirty, bedding old and stained .

The room had a very strange smell, like a musty filter.

The hotel could benefit from a thorough deep clean. The walls, doors, bathrooms and bed linen all appeared to need more attention to cleanliness.
