Landelijk gevoel met ruime kamer en heerlijk eten
Pros:

Loslopende eenden, ganzen, kippen en poezen geven een landelijk en rustig gevoel. Kamer groot en schoon. Lekker gegeten, terwijl wij eigenlijk te laat aankwamen

Comfy but only stay one night
Pros:

Very old building - apparently Napoleon either lived there or visited and tied up his horse in the restaurant area. The owner was lovely but didn't speak any English, her son did however. The rooms were completed and were very comportable.

Cons:

The place was very hard to find, the village was very quite. The outside was not completed in the renovations - diggers etc on site. There is a Dance Hall being renovated when we were there also. Dinner choices were - Confit Duck - Duck kebab or monkfish, all cook in a very French style, not everyone choice. Unfortunatly we were the only guest that nights.

Eine abgewirtschaftete Location mit muffigen Zimmern

Nichts. Weder die Zimmern noch das Ambiente oder die hilflose Familie, die den Schuppen bewirtschaftet. Der schönste Anblick war die kleiner werdende Hotelgrausamkeit im Rückspiegel.

Cons:

In Erwartung der Bestnoten bei Booking.com haben wir gebucht. Doch die Bewertungen sind Betrug!
Die Parkähnliche Lage ist eine nie fertigwerdende Baustelle. Das Zimmer war erreichbar über eine gefährliche, steile Holzstiege (kaum zu schaffen mit Koffer) und das Restaurant war ein dunkles, muffiges Loch. Nach Tagen haftete immer noch der Zimmermuff in der Kleidung.

Don't advertise as an hotel until you light the place!
Pros:

Told by proprietor that she did not want to cook dinner for me as the only guest and proposed a restaurant 4kms away. No signage at all outside the property (nb 'a 3 star hotel' creating a long search up and down the road to find it. My room was up a very steep, dark and unlit outside wooden staircase, I was told that it was ok as the light would come on when it was dark outside. When I returned from the restaurant, not a single light was on outside or inside, except the one I had left on, expecting nothing less, in my room. Had I not had a mobile phone with a light in it, there would have been pitch darkness.

Cons:

The breakfast was cery good and service attentive (being the only guest)
