Pros:

nice bed, nice bathroom

Cons:

no oven in common kitchen, but we made do with an electric frying pan and microwave

Excellent accomodation, comfy bed, and great resturant on the property.
Pros:

We were traveling from Nelson and had an easy check in when we arrived. Lisa was amazing. She made us feel very welcome and was accommodating to what we wanted. She prepared dinner one evening that was delicious and a treat. I was celebrating my birthday and received a yummy sticky date pudding with ice cream/cream. We will be back and staying at The Last Resort. Well worth it.

Cons:

Rained part of the time, but we knew that was expected at this time of the year.

The Best Stay on the West Coast
Pros:

I had a yummy lamb shank meal and a baklava dessert in the restaurant that had a roaring fire. The locals who drink here are welcoming and hilariously funny.

My darling hubby had the Marlborough mussels with this crispy garlic topping. He was not willing to share with me! He had one of the chef's special of a gluten free almond dessert.

The staff were incredibly hospitable and we had a great stay here. Well worth it after visiting the Oparara Basin.
We will definitely be back!

Reasonable value & perfect for a bikepacking pit stop between the Old Ghost Road & Heaphy Track
