Location and great welcoming staff.
Dated needs freshening up.
It was a beautiful old hotel with friendly helpful staff. The building was a little bit worn out but the staff did their utmost to make our stay enjoyable. Lovely breakfast and comfy bed.
There was nothing.
Location was good and breakfast
The place was filthy and run down, shower filled up with hardly any pressure. Staff going past you at breakfast to go outside for a cigarette. Breakfast run had box with water in it that had dripped through the ceiling, inside and outside windows filthy with dead flies around
It's time for you guys to close down or sell. Have had many pleasant stays in the past but it is game over now for you.
Todp bien
The staff were good but clearly understaffed. The cooked breakfast was good and served swiftly. The location was fine with good dining options across the road/nearby.
The hotel is tragically in disrepair. The absentee owners/s haven’t spent money on maintaining what was once a grand hotel and it shows decades of serious neglect. The bathroom was disgraceful as was the state of the barely working dirty relic of a fridge.
Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, reasonable rate for the night it is also the closest hotel to Stonehenge about a 30 minute walk away
The hotel is very old and dated it has great history with the Beatles and Agatha Christie but it probably hasn't had a coat of paint and carpets since the Beatles stayed there 60 years ago
Nothing
Nothing
Friendliness of staff, location was great.its a hotel with character, breakfast was very good.
Nothing, stayed many times before.it satisfies my needs..
Setting room size and garden
lovely old village
didn't sleep as church rang chimes every hour in full throughout the night and although it's nice to hear the birds in the morning, crows started at 4am and continued throughout the early morning, Saturday night was hoping for a better sleep but wedding celebration meant that very loud disco music went on until 12 pm
The staff, the guys were really welcoming and really professional, friendly and a credit to the hotel.
Nothing.
