Margaritaville Vacation Club - St. Thomas

This location really surprised me because it was right on the water island breeze mountains. The atmosphere was friendly and festive. I spent most of mytime at the infinity pool my room was in building 14, which was really close to the pool. I like that. I enjoyed it that they had golf cart service so thatyou don’t have to be walking in the hot heat. The bar had delicious food and drinks at all times even the pool had food that was being served on the premises things like they’re famous burgers which were delicious and the drinks were nice and fresh. I appreciated the island breeze although the beach had most of the there it didn’t bother me because you could always take the shuttle to another beach. However, the breeze from the beach is what really makes Margaritaville a great stay. You’re never gonna be overheated because it stays nice and cool with the island breeze on the water. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. This is definitely a great hotel to stay with family or friends or even solo. There was a lot of band where you can have fun and dance. I really had Happy birthday.

We are coming back again and we will be staying here. Lovely clean rooms. Everyone was so friendly and very accommodating. Just a great trip Don’t forget to take the seas of the day snorkeling with the turtles. So beautiful and fun. Ask for Captain Wallens. He’s great. Enjoy your trip

LOVE the room plus mini kitchen which is complete with toaster, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher , coffee pot, plastic pitcher, margarita glasses, cups, plates, knives, cutting board , and Margaritaville high-end blender . They were thoughtful by including laundry detergent, paper towels,, dishwasher detergent and towels , plus condiments like sugar, coffee, salt/pepper. The views from the balcony are spectacular. It is a bit noisy with the golf carts backing up, the roosters crowing , and some construction working nearby. Coki Beach is walking distance They do have a shuttle, but once you figure out how to walk there it's super easy. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

For starters i need to give a huge shoutout to the staff!!! When i say everyone was welcoming and friendly, i mean it! These people made my stay a breeze! Kyisha, Nicky, Chantel, and Iyanna literally went above and beyond with over the top customer service! & Eric was also a pleasure, he was driving the golf carts & also went above and beyond for me during my stay! Each and every last person mentioned deserves a raise!!! The atmosphere was always calm being that it’s right off the beach. They made my stay smooth & unforgettable. The room was nice and big & spotless! Very Clean. The view from my room was amazing you could see the beach from my door. I liked that a lot. The outdoor main pool was beautiful not too packed while i was there. They also did trivia there and a lot of different things. That definitely made my stay much more fun!!! The price of the stay was not bad at all! Decent for 6 nights 7 days. I recommend Margaritaville if you’re looking for great customer service and a lot of daily activities. A great view from the room and great food and drinks at Margaritaville restaurant. & when you go ask for the people the mentioned because they will make your stay a breeze!!

Rooms were nice and balcony was beautiful

Get a car and explore! The room was nice and the employees are amazing. Neil and Schneider were standouts! No housekeeping unless you ask for it but wasn’t a problem for us. The climb up the mountain to our room was the worst but lots of golf carts to help.

Struttura molto ampia e bella, tipico resort ai Tropici, personale gentilissimo e pronto ad aiutare. Ristorante ottimo e relativamente economico.

Only one restaurant with long wait and bad service. We were an older group and there were 88 steps to get to room. 28 steps in suite to go upstairs to go to bedroom or bathroom and go back down. No room service. Parking lot floods. Maid came in day before we left and threw out a lot of our stuff like we were gone. Which included alcohol, groceries, coffee filters, drinks, important papers, etc. We reported but were not compensated for.

Breakfast was really good along with the seafood soup (Great) and appetizers were excellent with prices very comparable to our South Florida home. Pool area is beautiful and spacious. We liked the location. Easy access to the Red Hook ferry or short ride downtown.

Great stay. Fast and easy check-in and check-out. Very clean and well kept resort. Rooms clean and well kept with balcony of bay strip. Lots of Restaurants and bars on site. Several pools to chose from. Several beaches within 5 mins drive. Airport 20-25 mins away depending on traffic. Grocery store/convenient store 1 min drive/5 min walk. Night clubs and restaurants nearby. Great location as everything you need is in walking distance. Food at restaurants was solid. The drinks made by bartenders were pretty strong. Parking was free. Golf carts ran most of all day so easy to get picked up and dropped off on the resort. A/C ran well with no issues. Hot water for showers remained consistent. Rooms were stocked with necessary amenities. Great stay. Enjoyed the resort. Would definitely stay again!!

I need to complete an accident report I slipped near to the restaurant. I was in shock when employees smothered me with questions. I was very uncomfortable and just wanted to sit somewhere then general manager came over and asked me and I just wanted to be left alone for a minute and yes, I should’ve filled out an accident report and I am in such pain. I can’t even walk so we have to talk and see what your establishment can do for me. Please call me back general manager at 607-242-5822. Talk to you soon. 25th Wedding Anniversary trip, dream come true! 3 nights wasn’t long enough but we squeezed every minute we had exploring St. Thomas & St. John

I recently stayed at Margaritaville Vacation Club - St. Thomas with my husband from May 19–20, and overall the experience was mixed.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, which set a positive tone for the stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a king-size bed, sofa bed, kitchen, and a nice bathroom setup. However, it’s important to note that there is no housekeeping service, which may be inconvenient depending on the length of your stay.

Unfortunately, the beach on the property was very disappointing and not as advertised. It was completely covered in seaweed/sargassum, making it inaccessible during our visit. The good news is that Coki Beach is just a short walk away and was absolutely beautiful and clean, with plenty of food and drink options. My husband had the jerk chicken and I had the oxtails (served with rice & peas, sweet plantains, and salad)—everything was delicious and the portions were generous.

The layout of the resort is also something to consider—rooms are located far from the main entrance and situated on hills. While golf cart transportation is available, wait times can be inconvenient, so be prepared for a lot of walking.

The infinity pool with the swim-up bar was a standout feature, offering beautiful views and a great atmosphere. That said, it’s located at the top of a hill with many stairs, which could be a concern—especially after drinking, as it may not feel very safe navigating back down.

The on-site restaurant was underwhelming. The food was subpar, the drinks were watered down, and even the coffee tasted very weak. The only highlight was our waiter, Chris, who provided good service and made decent food recommendations. Also, be aware that an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all purchases, including at the pool.

One of the more frustrating aspects was the vacation club/timeshare presentation setup. While incentives like discounted excursions, a $100 voucher, and a free airport taxi sound appealing, there was poor communication from the concierge team. We were not informed about restrictions (such as not drinking before the presentation), did not receive a confirmation text with details, and were not assisted with booking the promised return taxi. When we tried to arrange it the following day, we were told it was already fully booked. The presentation itself is scheduled for 1.5 hours, but it does run longer as they continue trying to sell you on the offer and go over pricing details. We did speak with a manager regarding these issues, and she ultimately rectified the taxi situation by booking us a ride for the day of our departure at no cost to us, which we appreciated.

Overall, while there are some nice amenities and friendly staff, the inconsistencies, lack of communication, and missing services made this stay feel average at best.
