The young lady on reception was so friendly and lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and was fine for a one night stay. Good location for us at the end of our Pembrokeshire coastal hike trip before getting the train back home.
It's on a main road so a bit noisy, the room was very hot, the room was very small. Absolutely fine for a night or two but not somewhere you might want to stay for longer.
Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location.
Lower mark given for 'Comfort' as the mattress was very soft, lumpy and uncomfortable. Also need a shelf in the shower room for toiletries.
Spaceous room and large bed. Very quiet despite busy road nearby. Close to a good restaurant. Helpful staff. Could checkin relatively early. Within walking distance of railway station.
There wasn't a hair dryer in the room.
Lovely setting and grounds. Convenient car park. Charming reception staff. Briĺliant room. Fantastic dinner. Whats not to like?
Nothing so far
The staff are very helpful and nice
Did not get any sleep and the floor boards above mad so much noise along with the traffic outside, no aircon in the room aswell
Bar lady ( reception staff ) spot
I even sat down stairs and had a pint with the locals
Very good relaxing bar
Just don't judge people
You'll be surprised how friendly everyone is
I just fancied some toast in the morning or cereal nothing too heavy but no one booked breakfast so no chef.
The property was clean and our room was comfortable, albeit very small. Being able to park onsite was appreciated.
It had a tired and somewhat shabby feel to it. One of the bedside lights was not in working order.
The shower was hot and powerful. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Tea and coffee in room. Free Wi-Fi. Good location to walk into town.
The bottom sheet did not fit the mattress properly. There was a big dent/hole in the wall and also the floor was uneven as if there was a hole there too. The floor boards of the room above were very noisy/creaky. The traffic/ town noise was loud even with the window shut. There was not much choice for breakfast.
Comfy bed. Good shower. Nice staff.
Yes the rooms are a bit tired but that didnt bother me.
You get what you pay for. Yes it’s basic and a bit dated and a noisy location, but it does the job and is cheap. I’d stay here again if passing through.
Noisy location. Nothing they can do about it, but I hadn’t appreciated the fact from other reviews so I think it’s worth stating here.
Nice bedroom comfortable bed and great shower
The bar and especially the breakfast room was dark and poorly lit
It’s a smaller hotel with a bar right in the centre of town, well run, and in good condition. They serve a good breakfast at a reasonable price and there is £1 overnight parking at the council car park across the road.
It is right on the main road, although overnight traffic is minimal. My bathroom was very compact and would be tricky for a larger person to manage.
The hotel is in need of a facelift
