Full of character in the center of Ambato
Pros:

Hotel full of character built around a courtyard. Great, gourmet, breakfast (included, but chosen off the menu). Good restaurant on site. Room included antiques and the place was interestingly furnished. Parking worked well, but see below.

Cons:

The room was a little small for two suitcases and the only window was mostly covered by the wardrobe and the lighting was not great. A word about parking.
The hotel is on a one-way street with one stream of traffic with cars parked along it so that you cannot stop even to unload and ask for directions to parking, I continued over a cross-roads and a parking lot was within 50 yards. One mention of the hotel and we parked in one of the two remaining spots. As we left we needed a permit from the hotel. I do not know if the other parking lot just before the hotel has the same deal or not, or what we would have done if all the spots were taken. My gripe is that we were not told any of this in advance. It would be simple to send the necessary info beforehand and this would reduce stress.

Muy mala experiencia
Cons:

Después de estar reservado con anticipación, llegamos, nos atendieron muy mal y adicional a eso ellos mismos nos habían cancelado la reserva ,nos dejaron sin habitación. Nada recomendable.

Personal amabilísimo, comida deliciosa y cómodas habitaciones
Pros:

El ambiente muy bonito. Bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad. La comida en el restaurante muy buena. El personal en general amabilísimo y súper disponible para atender nuestros requerimientos. Muy buena estadía

Cons:

A veces el volumen de la música en el restaurante estaba un poco alto desde temprano y hasta después de las 10pm y si era algo molestoso en las habitaciones

Great place to stay when visiting Ambato.
Pros:

Hotel is wonderful, great location, staff is super helpful, and the restaurant is great also.

Cons:

Room was a little warm because there were no windows but that could have just been our preference.
