Wouldn't book again, my mate stayed at the Scarrisbrick which was better and cheaper.
Pros:

I expected a cooked breakfast which was included, but on arrival it was extra.

Cons:

The kettle didn't work, and the mattress was solid and uncomfortable.

Pros:

The room was large an so was the bed

The bathroom was not clean. There were toothpaste splats on the tiles. Skirting boards were dirty. Mirrors all streaky. The sink took ages for the water to go down.

Maybe just unlucky
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Our room No.11 was maybe the only picture not on booking.com. Zero room to even get changed, tiny bathroom. I feel like I booked this hotel totally with false advertising. Breakfast included is only a continental breakfast. We paid extra on arrival for a cooker breakfast.

Schönes kleines Hotel
Pros:

Pros:

staff were polite

Cons:

room 1 had 2 single beds pushed together that did not match in height. the one had springs issues and was lumpy. we were moved to room 18. this was dirty and smelly. we were moved again. the new room had a broken shower (water ran out the bottom and nothing from the shower head), burn holes in the carpets, stains on the bedding, holes in the wall, a view of the rear which looks like a council dump. it is not 2 stars let alone 4.
