Great location - large rooms, very attentive staff

Cons:

Some of the amenities were a little outdated. Hotel would benefit from the bathroom uplift, addition of bidet, etc.

10/10 — Martis Palace is a perfect place to stay in the heart of Rome. The staff were professional, welcoming and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent, with most of the city’s main sights very accessible. Highly recommended!

Not as expected considering the price
Pros:

great location breakfast was good

Cons:

Given a room with an adjoining door and could hear the other guests. I believe this was supposed to be a family suite but we only had 2 people and didnt like hearing the other people next door. I also did not like having a shower in our hallway very disappointed considering the price we paid for the room and how far in advance I made the reservation.

I wish we were able to stay longer!!!!
Pros:

The front desk attendant (I'm so mad I didn't get her name) was EXCEPTIONAL!!! She went above and beyond for us and even upgraded us so we were able to check in early. The coffee and breakfast were delicious as was the food on the upstairs terrace. The location couldn't be beat, and I've already begun recommending the hotel to co-workers should they find themselves in Rome.

Hotel assisted with transportation to and from hotel. Also provided a lovely experience for us including lovely/comfortable hotel room, wonderful breakfasts, and helpful staff.
