The staff at the hotel was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The location is incredible. You are only a few moments away from walking to any restaurant, shopping, tourist destination in the downtown Juneau area. Local community was great.
The building is historic and reflects its age, so bear that in mind. If you like historic buildings with character this will add value to your experience.
Location was convenient to shops, restaurants and cruise docks. The staff was nice, the historic vibe is fun.
Do not come to this hotel to sleep, I’d read the reviews, I’ve stayed at lots of questionable places in past, and I was staying on a Sunday/Monday night, how bad could it be? Well, music is thumping every night til 2am, you can hear every conversation of all neighboring rooms, you can hear every door shut, every footstep, every shower start, ear plugs are not enough. Might be Ideal spot for someone that wants to drink in the bar til 2am and stumble to your room after. 🤷🏼♀️
Great location, great ambiance, friendly staff.
The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Was a little loud Wednesday night due to karaoke in the bar downstairs.
We were going on a cruise with Uncruise so the location for a night stay over was perfect - right in the middle of town restaurants really close. The beds were also surprisingly comfortable. We had a back room and even though there was a karaoke night we didn't hear a thing.
Room was small but was all we needed but overall a perfect place to stay the night.

Too old. Smell bad. The room is too small. Didn’t have the hair dryer. I asked the front desk but he said the hotel was fully booked so no hair dryer. I had to use the fan to dry my hair. Next morning I asked again and the room cleaner gave me a hair dryer but it didn’t work so I used the fan again. I would not recommend it to anyone.

There was not the correct coffee pot for the coffee maker.
We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Juneau—and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The price was great for the location, and the staff and room service were always kind and accommodating.
A HUGE shoutout to Mike, who truly went above and beyond for us in every possible way. He was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. People like Mike are what make a stay memorable!
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Juneau and would happily stay here again!

Wasn’t aware the hotel is considered “haunted”, until after checking in. (Glad we had a restroom in our room, so I didn’t need to walk down a potentially haunted hallway in the middle of the night.)
