It was a short visit but an overall enjoyable one.
Pros:

The breakfast was good and the location is great. Most of the staff are very welcoming and the welcome back note left on the beds was lovely. The rooms were decorated well and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The dinner (curry and a burger) that we enjoyed in the lounge area was very tasty. Had an great early morning walk along the promenade and pier before breakfast. There were already quite a few people out and it felt safe to be out walking alone.

Cons:

The building is looking a little rough around the edges. The patio doors were difficult to open and did not lock. There is a lot of peeling paint outside on the balconies and very dirty windows in the passages, which are covered by net curtains. A revamp of the outside property seems to be long overdue.

Pros:

Property was good with location wise. Sea facing room is best .

Cons:

Extra charges to pay for the water bottles which is 750 ml ( 30 RND per bottle) .
