Stay was ok just didn’t like the room, too old fashioned, the windows

Pros:

It is close to the airport.

Cons:

This hotel has maybe been maintained but not upgraden since the 19nineties. No plugs by the beds no European plug-in points. Wifi was hardly working. Poor insulation so noisy( and close to a busy airport. For a hotel that charges European prices it is not up to standard.

Pros:

Breakfasts were great, just one time the coffee machine ran out of hot chocolate and just gave a hot mug of milk
Shuttle service was excellent and very friendly and professional

Cons:

All the sunbeds were taken that were in the sun, so I had to lie on one in the shade

Breakfast was okay

Cons:

During check in the receptionist was on the phone, not her fault, it rang. Im not used to the phone being answered while Im checking in, Ive worked front desk and the next person picks up or like, switchboard. It took away being personable.

The room had stuffy air yet it was cold. No extra blankets in the cupboard. Luckily I had a travel blanket.

No water in the room, even 2 star establishments have that.

No fridge or cooler. I found that strange.

Excellent location, few amenities
Pros:

Close to airport. Free shuttle to and from airport. Staff were fantastic, esp shuttle driver.

Cons:

Room smelled of smoke (booked a non-smoking room). Managed to change rooms, but new room aircon did not work on a blistering hot night.

No room service - flight was delayed, arrived after midnight, ravenous and their restaurant had closed for the night. Had to go to the Intercontinental to get food to eat - thankfully shuttle could take me.
