C’est le plus bel hôtel de tout notre perible !

L’hôtel est INCROYABLE en tout point, la piscine avec vue sur les rizières, l’accueil, le personnel, la chambre, le restaurant est très bon aussi ! Je recommande vraiment, l’environnement de l’hôtel est top

De kamer was netjes en voldoende groot, personeel was vriendelijk en het eten was in orde.

Cons:

Het zwembad was vuil. We zijn er slechts 1 keer in geweest maar zelfs na een douche nadien kleefden we nog. Het zwembad is dus echt geen meerwaarde als je er niet in kan/wil gaan omdat het te vuil is.
We hebben er 1 keer gegeten. Echter moest we 50 minuten wachten op ons eten én drinken terwijl je ergens anders in Sri Lanka gewoon binnen het kwartier je eten hebt en je drinken zeer kort na de bestelling.
1 minpuntje voor de kamer is dat er geen ijskast was, je kan dan ook niets van eigen dranken koel houden.
Aangezien wij een safari deden en hierbij om 4u30 vertrokken hadden wij gevraagd om een ontbijtpakket te kunnen meekrijgen (bij de meeste hotels kan je dit vragen in functie van de safari's die je kan doen in de streek). De manager leek niet zeer gelukkig toen we zeiden dat we de safari niet via het hotel geboekt hadden maar zei vervolgens wel dat het geen probleem was een ontbijtpakket te krijgen bij ons vertrek om 4u30.
Jammer genoeg was er die ochtend niemand te bespeuren en al zeker geen ontbijtpakket.
Het is niet leuk als je het gevoel hebt dat er gewoon tegen je gelogen wordt.

In het algemeen zijn wij dus teleurgesteld over het hotel. De staat van het hotel en faciliteiten komt niet (meer) overeen met de foto's op booking.
We hebben het gevoel dat het hotel niet goed gemanaged wordt en er overal wat tekortkomingen zijn terwijl dit hotel echt de kwaliteiten heeft om een leuk verblijf te zijn, wat het nu jammer genoeg niet was...

Es war perfekt! Wir würden immer wieder kommen
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben und die Lage ist ein Traum mitten in den Feldern und am See! Wir haben von hier aus unsere Yala Safari gemacht und es war einfach perfekt.

Rizières à perte de vue
Pros:

Super hôtel, magnifique vue et très belle piscine. Le personnel est aux petits soins et la chambre est très bien ! Nous avons demandé du jour au lendemain s’il était possible de faire un safari à Uda Walawe, et l’hotel a pu s’occuper de tout pour nous. Nous avons également pu quitter la chambre plus tard afin de rentrer du safari et prendre une douche. le lac de Tissamaharama juste à côté est un plus énorme ! Bref, gros coup de coeur pour cet hôtel. Certainement le meilleur de notre voyage jusqu’à présent.

Cons:

La nourriture n’est pas à la hauteur de la qualité de l’établissement (cf petit déjeuner)

Il miglior hotel con rapporto qualità prezzo!
Pros:

L’hotel è da lasciare senza fiato, con un altissimo rapporto qualità prezzo si ha la possibilità di nuotare in una piscina sulle risaie. Le camere sono arredate in modo essenziale ma prevedono tutti i comfort. La zona della Hall/reception funge anche da luogo per colazione (abbondante) e da ristorante, sempre vista risaie. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel non solo per la visuale ed il rapporto qualità prezzo ma anche per la posizione strategica e la buonissima cucina del ristorante!

Pros:

Lovely outdoor areas on each floor to relax. Great to be outdoors ... but have shade! Place feels secluded and has a lovely private feel to it, being in the middle of rice fields. Pool is nice after a long day at safari. Room was clean and well appointed.

Décevant, pas a la hauteur de nos attentes
Pros:

Emplacement très sympa face au lac, belle vue dans les champs, en particulier au coucher de soleil. Convient pour une nuit pour un safari. Il fait frais dans les chambres.

Cons:

Hôtel vieillissant qui présente de nombreuses traces d’usures. En une seule soirée passée, 2 coupures d’électricité ont eu lieue, laissant songeur sur le non respect de la chaîne du froid… La piscine quand à elle ne correspond pas aux photos proposées, premièrement au niveau de la taille, mais surtout au niveau de la couleur (eau verdâtre avec des écosystèmes présents à l’intérieur), nous ne nous sommes pas aventurés, frustrant.
Niveau service, dur de communiquer, concernant le restaurant, 45’ pour préparer des pâtes à la sauce tomate, même si le restaurant est vide…
