- At the exit of the station, turn left into Okubo-dori street, and walk for about 328 feet.
- At the corner of the super market next to Tokyo Plaza Hotel, turn right.
- Walk straight on for about 262 feet, until you see the Shin Okubo Sekitei on the right side of the street.
-- The property looks out on a narrow side-street, which branches off from the main street. This side-street might be a bit hard to find for a first-time guest. We strongly recommend printing out the map or the pictures in this page in advance.

Hotel with cockroaches
Pros:

Location was ok and the staff was friendly and fair enough to refund us our money.

Cons:

Our room had cockroaches!!! They were huge and my wife and I had to leave in the middle of the night and look for another hotel. Horrifying!!! The hotel is very old and has some weird smell.

It was good
Pros:

This room that we got was excellent, it had a bed in a separate room and when you enter you go to the living room which is great, a very good placement of rooms. It was nice and seemed clean.

Cons:

We found a giant cockroach in the morning next to the bed.

Small but cosy stay at a great location.
Pros:

The room was tidy, cosy, and well looked after despite its small size. Most of the rooms were a comfortable size for the price, and the space felt well designed overall.

Cons:

The toilet was quite cramped, a bit too small for comfort, especially compared to the rest of the room.

Very friendly staff, 24-hour reception - rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day. Well-equipped room with AC and air cleaner. Hotel is located in a well-connected area.

Cons:

The rooms are unfortunately dated, there were discrepancies between the photos and the real room. Nevertheless, good value for money.

Pros:

Camera molto pulita, materassi a terra incredibilmente comodi. Nel complesso un po' piccola ma ben distribuita negli spazi e in linea con le strutture Giapponesi. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, ci hanno tenuto le valigie prima del check in e aiutato nello spedirle alla destinazione successiva. Comodo anche il servizio di lavatrice/asciugatrice.
Posizione comoda, a 2 minuti a piedi da metro di Shin-okubo e circa 20 minuti a piedi da Shinjuku

Très bel établissement, le confort, l'accueil et la localisation sont idéals.
Pros:

Le personnel était très accueillant, et attentionné, de plus la réception est ouverte 24h/24h. La chambre est grande et confortable avec un futon traditionnel très confortable, une salle de bains privative et un frigo. La localisation de l'hôtel est idéale à deux pas de la station de train sur la ligne Yamanote.
