Warm welcome fantastic staff lovely food. Just a small walk to town and seafront. No bar but a lot on the list to order by just pushing the bell. We had room 7 lovey looking out at the garden. Great bath room with lots of space for your things the bed was so comfortable as well. We did tell them about the plants covering half of the window and the manager was very happy for feedback and is going to cut them back a bit. Will return again.

This is our second visit. The hotel, an attractive well maintained historic building, is set in extensive attractive grounds, only a short walk from the town itself Our room was comfortable and all its facilities fine and very clean The public areas are spotless with a comfortable lounge and dining room Staff at all levels were consistently friendly and efficient.
Food here is outstanding both at breakfast and dinner with good choice of options freshly and expertly prepared - a particular delight after so much indifferent catering pack 'pub grub' on offer elsewhere.
Very little to be critical about. Our room was well equipped but maybe a little on the small side. The sloping site provides enough parking most of the time but negotiating it can be a bit tricky. Some less mobile visitors may also find the steps up to the main entrance quite challenging
