The lift/elevator was being replaced, so they said, so we had the walk up and down five flights of stairs each time we went out.
Also, due to the lift being out of order the roof top bar wasn’t operating so we had to fend for our selves. Which was actually the best part of the hotel. With a direct line of site to the Duomo, along with a night time glass of wine and commiserating with other guests our evenings were memorable.

Stay if you have no other options in the area - and the lifts working!!!
Pros:

The location of the hotel is fantastic right next the Duomo and all of the amazing restaurants. The roof top terrace and the view was a bonus. Offered unlimited drinks from the fridge to compensate for the lift not working and offered a different hotel. 10/10 to the poor guy having to take the bags up and down the stairs every day.

Cons:

The lift was out of action for our entire visit so up and down 4 flights of stairs for every trip in and out, we were told that the rooftop bar was closed but the area would be freely accessible to guests. First night we tried to access this at 9:15 and told it was closed by the manager!!! WTF this was the only reason we agreed to stay here!! Next night manager will allow roof top terrace to stay open until 10pm and they had a bottle of prosecco for us for last nights inconvenience (we never received this). Bathroom never cleaned and very outdated. Questionable stains on the duvet - my advice stay in this area but not here!! The coffee machine at breakfast didn't work but no sign on it.

Trivsamt litet hotell med toppenläge nära domen i Florens
Pros:

Väldigt trivsamt familiärt hotell med rena drömläget en tvärgata från domen. Entren lovar inte så mycket, men hotellet överraskar. Hotellet ligger på fjärde våningen, med utsikt över takåsarna. Från frukostrummet ser man rätt ut mot domen, magiskt. Hotellet har dessutom ytterligare etager med dels en öpen takterass, dels ett uterum. Från dessa en fantastisk utsikt över staden. Personalen väldigt trevlig, och städningen oklanderlig, väldigt rent och fint. Rekommenderas!

Cons:

Frukosten inte så omfattande, kunde gärna funnits några andra bröd än formbröd.

Die zentrale Lage, abends waren wir allein oben auf der Dachterrasse und hatten einen wunderschönen Rundumblick auf Florenz.
Frühstück gab es reichlich und wurde nachgelegt. Personal war zuvorkommend.

Hotel Villani Firenze em foco.
Pros:

O hotel Villani tem excelente localização e é muito confortável. Ficamos no quarto luxo, era enorme, tinha até uma saleta e banheiro. A cama era muito confortável e grande tipo box. O hotel oferece um café da manhã muito bem servido com grande variedade. Do hotel é possível ver a Duommo di Fiori, vir da estação com as malas caminhando e andando à ponte Vecchio. Darei destaque à atenção e carinho dos funcionários do hotel como a Luzia, que é uma pessoa fantástica e muito alegre e ao Lorenzo também muito atencioso. O hotel fica no quarto andar, pois no primeiro é outro hotel, o Lanzi, há um elevador para subir. Possui também um roof top para ver Firenze do alto e a Duommo. O hotel realiza o trabalho de guardar as malas para chek in antecipado.Amei a estadia no Villani, ficamos com a família em três diferentes dormitórios, todos muito bons.

Läget var utmärkt och personalen, särskilt den trevliga damen i receptionen, var mycket serviceminded.

Cons:

Ingen info på Booking om att hotellet låg på våning 4 men en klaustrofobiskt liten hiss eller trappor som gav eftersmak, som enda alternativ att ta sig upp. Ingen bar öppen och trist när en stor välfylld sopsäck stod precis innanför entrén när vi anlände första dagen.

Muy céntrico pero hay que reparar el baño

La ubicación excelente y las vistas.
La terraza con vistas preciosas. El desayuno incluido estaba bien. Nos dejó dejar las maletas unas horas más. El personal muy agradable,habla muchos idiomas.

Cons:

El baño estaba muy mal,en concreto la ducha,sin media mampara,con una cortina sucia y muy cutre,que daba reparo casi ducharse. El ascensor muy ruidoso sonando toda la noche. La cama mejorable.
