Pros:

Staff are lovely in particular the two young men who worked behind the bar and on reception

Great quality stay.
Pros:

Room was beautiful. Lovely and light. Breakfast buffet and seating was great.

Cons:

We requested a cot in advance. Wasn't there when we arrived. Had to instruct staff. We could see the breakfast staff were a little out of their depth. Kept getting orders wrong for the table next to ours. Also didn't make egg options clear to us so my wife missed out on the fried eggs she wanted.

Short break to Broadstairs
Pros:

The hotel was clean and inviting. It was in a great position to be able to walk into Broadstairs. The staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was included and was superb. Would definitely recommend staying there if you are wanting to visit the area.

Lovely stay but a few little details would make it so much better.
Pros:

We booked the master suite, was lovely and big. The staff were all really lovely. The building is well maintained and very clean and tidy. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome as the top floor was hot!

Cons:

Breakfast finished at 9.30 which I’ve never ever experienced in a hotel! This was far too early in my opinion, 10am should be the minimum. The beds had very flat pillows and only one pillow per person on the bed which is quite strange. We found extras but they were also flat and not very comfy. The hotel did provide us some lovely fluffy feather ones on request which was great but I feel they should have just been there to start with. The bed was also overly soft. The receptionist gave us fresh milk for tea and coffee on arrival which was lovely but a little odd that we had to then carry a full jug up 2 flights of stairs with luggage, but anyway was fine. However, when we got to our room (master suite and best room in the hotel) there was no fridge to store it so by the morning that milk was no good. Not a big issue but just another slightly strange thing that I’ve never had at any other hotel!
