- In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), starting November 1, Thailand has allowed fully vaccinated travelers who are traveling by air from low-risk and only eligible 63 countries for quarantine-free travel. Travelers entering Thailand under exemption from quarantine scheme will have to take a RT-PCR COVID-19 test once arrive and wait for test result at SHA+ or AQ hotel for 1 night or until negative result will be received.

- We regret to inform you that unfortunately we have found it necessary to close our swimming pool from September 1, 2022 onwards to carry out emergency repairs which cannot be postponed.
- We have arranged for our guests to use the swimming pool at the Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai opposite U Nimman Chiang Mai or only 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel with a free of charge drink beside the pool from the chosen selection with our compliments. May we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by these essential repairs and thank you for your kind understanding regarding this matter.

It located only 5 minutes’ drive from the U Nimman Chiang Mai and a free of charge drink beside the pool from the chosen selection with our compliments.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Its location and clean and nice rooms. The staff were very friendly, helpful and warm. They made us feel very welcome.
The pillows were a little too soft and flat.
The large majority of hotel staff are friendly and attentive – particularly those working in the dining room at breakfast. Their understanding of English varies, but is rarely a problem. The rooms are spacious and well maintained by housekeeping.
The breakfast buffet provides an excellent and wide range of dishes to cater for all tastes. Do not miss the seafood buffet as it is excellent and reasonably priced.
Four employees who impressed us as particularly helpful, friendly and attentive are:
* POR – is a delightful and charming young lady and excellent barista. Por remembered my coffee order every day!
* NOON – is like being greeted by a ray of sunshine every day. Noon is always smiling and happy who really brightens your day!
* SUN – is an observant and caring young man who recognised a weary and sleep-deprived old man in the lobby. Sun was genuinely concerned when he saw how fatigued I was and tried to arrange a room change away from the very busy and noisy Nimmanhaemin Road. Unfortunately, that was not possible.
* Our wonderful, very friendly and diligent LADY HOUSEKEEPER of room 501.
However, the U Nimman Chiang Mai EMPLOYEE of the MONTH AWARD for JULY 2026 goes to Ms GAME, the Front Office Manager. Ms Game made a very special and extra effort to support my wife on numerous occasions during my unexpected stay at Chaingmai Ram Hospital.
We ask that management share with these 5 staff our appreciation of their efforts, and acknowledge the contribution they made individually to our 10-night stay.

The staff, the environment, the location, the amenities and the food are all super good. The staff Sun is professional and hospitable. I will be back again.

We enjoyed the clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. The breakfast buffet was very elaborate, all the food was of very good quality. The staff at the hotel deserve a special compliment, they are really very kind and go out of their way to make your stay excellent.
I have no negative points to note in particular.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The complimentary snacks and drinks in the minibar were a thoughtful touch. The breakfast had a great variety of choices, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would especially like to thank Petchy from the staff team for the warm welcome and excellent service. I wanted to go to Maya, but it was raining. She tried to help me by lending me an umbrella. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
The location was next to a lively area
The breakfast had very few options the hotel rooms were next to the main road you could hear all the noises specially at night the staff barely explained what is included and what is not
The breakfast buffet had lots of option. The location is perfect, so much to do nearby. the staffs are wonderful and the room also was perfect. I chose a balcony room.
