Room was spacious, staff was attentive and accommodating, restaurant was superb. The view of the balloons taking off in the morning was excellent.
Some of the room photos in the listing were for other rooms, but ours was on the lowest floor. Still spacious and comfortable, but outdoor seating area wasn't as nice as some of the photos. Not a problem or a reason not to book, just a reminder that each room is unique, so you won't necessarily get exactly the one you might be expecting. Again a very minor criticism.
Absolutely mind blowing , like from a movie set ! The grounds are so gorgeous and the facilities are excellent
Nothing !!
The breakfasts were amazing, the staff were amazing, the property is super amazing. It is a steep, but short enough walk uphill from the centre of town and the views are worth the climb.
The only reason we didn't click 10/10 was because our room was near the entrance to the restaurant so it was very annoying. People speak loud when walking past to enter the restaurant, morning till late at night, and don't consider there is a room right next to them.

La ubicación y la originalidad del hotel, habitaciones
Muito bem localizado e com empregados muito prestáveis. Espaço muito giro!
Unique collection of Caves and individual rooms making up this charming little hotel complex. We loved the authenticity of this place. Our room was a junior suite and was tastefully decorated, kept spotlessly clean, with robes, slippers and toiletries refreshed daily. The small pool, garden and sunbeds were more than enough to relax in - No rush for sunbeds, no matter what time of the day and a perfect location by the pool or the 360 roof top terrace for early morning balloon spotting. The view overlooked lots of caves in the area, particularly from the Happena restaurant which was beautiful at every time of the day. Breakfasts were local produce, varied every day with cheeses, vegetables, salads, local breads and honey etc. - delicious! The Happena Restaurant had a peaceful ambience and the food and service were excellent (Rain and Onur), but others too, looked after us at every meal. In my opinion a better overall dining experience than the Seten Restaurant in the same complex which was chaotic and had poor service. Front of house Yagmar, Mehmet and others were great sorting out taxis and helping us generally. Yusef, the Hotel Manager and 'Fixer' was alway on hand to sort out guests needs and was just wonderful and kind. My luggage didn't arrive from Istanbul and he was really helpful in speaking to the airline, locating it and keeping me updated on its arrival - Yusef seemed to be everywhere and delighted in talking to guests - We felt so welcome at this hotel. It was about 2 minute walk downhill into town (and to the air balloon breakfast location - also a wonderful experience, with a slick operation from pick up to return, with Turquaz) which we ventured into to look around. It was quite good for a vibrant tourist town, with lots of locals in the restaurants too - but really we couldn't wait to get back to the serenity, food and view of the Kelebek Cave hotel.
This was one of my most favourite stays on my 6 week trip of Europe and Turkey. The cave rooms are very well maintained with incredible views over Cappadocia. The staff at the hotel were very attentive and the restaurant was also impressive. Breakfast was phenomenal with so many different delicious choices. There were excellent views of the hot air balloons in the morning and the pool facilities were very well maintained.
This is where you need to stay when visiting Cappadocia. The staff was so friendly and the rooms were great. We had the family suite and stayed in a cave that was carved in the 8th century! We had an incredible experience touring the founder's family farm in King Valley and having breakfast there learning about the local and historical culture. This is the only place to stay when visiting this region!
