No AC and no fridge in the room. The lelevator was broken down. No staff at the reception after 5 pm .
The room was prepared for 2, we booked for 4 people. They fixed it directly though
De ligging en het uitzicht vanuit de kamer en vanuit het restaurant op de Thunersee was geweldig. Het ontbijt was zeer goed en het personeel zeer vriendelijk.
De kamer is iets gedateerd, maar op zich is dat niet zo erg. De lift deed het niet en voor iemand die moeilijk trappen kan lopen was dit niet zo fijn. De douche kan ook worden gemoderniseerd met een thermostaatkraan en een een betere douchekop. De handzeep in de douchecabine was niet bijgevuld.
Tolle Lage oberhalb vom Thunersee. Einfaches, aber schönes DZ im Nebengebäude. Das Bad is zweckmässig löst aber keine Ferienstimmung aus. Alles sauber. Praktischer kleiner Balkon. Restaurant mit schöner Gartenwirtschaft. Die Küche bzw. unser Menü war gut. Genügend Parkplätze.
Frühstück ist vielfältig.
Bei unserer Ankunft war die Reception nicht besetzt. Klingeln half nichts. Eine Reinigungskraft informierte uns, dass die Chefin nicht da sei, und wir es mal im Restaurant versuchen sollten. Hat geklappt. Aber heezlich Ankommen sieht für mich anders aus. Schade.
Die Lage ist durch die Aussicht auf den See sehr schön.

Ein schönes Boutique Hotel.
Mangelhaftes Frühstücksbuffet. Vieles war schon „abgegrast“, fehlte. Etwas enttäuschend. Es hatte keine Buttergipfeli, dafür verschmorrte Rühreier.
Sehr schöne Lage oberhalb des Thunersees mit Aussicht auf den See. Ein schönes Frühstücksbuffet.

I cannot say that I liked anything. The hotel is totally overpriced. The balcony had dead plants on either side. The bathroom had something holding up the ceiling. There was a visible wire "smorgasboard" under the desk. There were a cockroaches in the room!
The person who received us had an attitude from the start, was unfriendly, and it felt very much like we bothered her with our arrival. We arrived on a Hotel "Ruhe Tage" ; I had to wait far too long in the reception for anyone to show up.
Our room was above the entrance of a parking garage, so we had the pleasure of hearing cars drive in and out, as well as people stepping into cars and making a lot of noise.
We had asked for a locked space to place our bikes and charge one of them; I wrote ahead about this and this was confirmed. Upon arrival, we were told to place them in the open parking garage (no locked door). We had to insist and then were given access to a locked garage that was available for bikes all along.
The restaurant was closed. They had no idea where to send us for food, apart from a local beach buvette. They suggested another restaurant, which was also closed when we checked. They were totally unbothered by this, and couldn't care less.
Everything. Very nice village. Nice room. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
Nothing. It is a shame the restaurant is closed at the night we stayed so we couldn't try it out. A good reason to come back!
