According to Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age can only stay with the presence of a personal representative and must present identification. In case the minor's not accompanied by either of the parents, a notarized written consent letter from both is required.
Please note that only 1 dog or cat under 8 kilos is accepted per room with an extra fee of R$ 110 per day or R$ 612 per week. Guests are required to sign a responsibility agreement and present the pet's vaccination card on arrival. Please, double check with the hotel for rules and restrictions.

Pool and rooftop terrace operations on December 31:
The pool will close at 12:00 PM on December 31 and reopen at 12:00 PM on January 1;
Due to preparations for and the celebration of the New Year's party, the rooftop terrace will also be closed from 12:00 PM on December 31 until 12:00 PM on January 1.
On New Year's Eve, access to the rooftop terrace will be restricted to guests/customers holding tickets for the party.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Hotel tik na plaži, pred hotelomin za hotelom policija, tako da smo se počutili res varno.
Zalo okusen zajtrki res udobne postelje.
V jedilnici je bila zelo močna klima in nas je skoraj zeblo.
Localização é ótima, próxima de bons restaurantes e ao lado da praia. O local é bastante policiado, nos sentimos seguros. O Hotel está bem cuidado e limpo.
Como ficamos em um andar mais baixo, havia uma praça ao lado do hotel que tinha bastante barulho, atrapalhando um pouco o sono a noite. As paredes do quartos são um pouco finas, o que também causa um pouco de barulho de outros quartos.
Não foi nada insuportável, mas importante levar em consideração.

Nice position and comfortable for a stay in Rio.Good breakfast
We were very disappointed with our reception when we arrived after an early red eye flight from London. We advised in advance of our arrival between 7:00am and 8:00am and asked for an early check in. They did not advise that this would likely be impossible ( Rio is full up - so we later learned). Instead they indicated that they would accommodate subject to availability - broadly encouraging. In the event that morning the only options given were to either wait in reception for almost 2 hours - then wait on the roof terrace once it opened - or to have and pay for three breakfasts ( which we’d already had on the plane). No progress reports were given. Eventually after almost 5 hours ( we were exhausted being both around 80yrs of age ) when

Fantastic location, just moments from Ipanema Beach and very convenient for exploring the area. The hotel is modern, comfortable and well presented. I ate in the hotel restaurant on both nights of my stay and particularly enjoyed the excellent caipirinhas!
There were a few disappointing aspects to my stay. At check-in, I specifically explained that I was happy for the credit card held on the reservation to remain as the guarantee for the room, but asked to make the actual payment using a different multi-currency card. I was told this was no problem, but unfortunately the hotel charged the full room payment to the original credit card anyway.
I was also surprised to be charged a fairly substantial amount by local standards for the small, basic bottles of water left in the room. It wasn’t made clear that these were chargeable, either at check-in or in the room information. For a hotel of this standard, particularly in a hot climate, I had reasonably assumed that a bottle of water provided in the room would be complimentary. It is such a small detail, but the lack of clarity unfortunately left a disproportionately poor impression at the end of an otherwise enjoyable stay. When I politely questioned the charge at checkout, the receptionist was quite abrupt and told me that if I was unhappy I could comment online, which I didn’t find particularly welcoming.
A note for vegetarian travellers: the food in the restaurant was great, but there were very limited vegetarian options on the menu during my stay.
