The hotel is very near to Nippombashi station, and there is a lift nearby to the station. We also can walk to Dotonbori for shopping and food. The hotel includes ramen for supper, and there is ice cream and yakult outside the onsen area.
For two avid world travelers who've spent the last several weeks touring Tokyo, kyoto, and Osaka, celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary, this Ryokan has been an unfortunate stain on our experiences with this incredibly beautiful country. Being such a special moment in time, we had decided to stay exclusively in accommodations that include hot spring Onsens and until our experience here, were incredibly happy with this decision. When we checked in, we were informed that we were not allowed to use the one amenity that guided our decision in choosing this location because we, like billions of other people around the world, have deeply personal and meaningful tattoos covering our bodies. I understand hotel policy, I do, but for a company in 2026, in the hospitality industry to essentially tell a massive demographic of its clientele that they are no better than common criminals (tattoos are associated with organized crime here) because of their deeply personal body adornments is archaic and unnecessarily divisive. Had the listing mentioned this in any way, we certainly would not have spent our money here when there are so many other options available to us. Maybe this was a booking.com issue, I'm not sure but that was our first experience here. Since it was too late to do anything about it, we decided to make the best of a bad situation and continue up to our room. We booked a "superior" room. What we got was a tiny room with a queensized bed and nowhere to put our luggage that didn't require we move it whenever traversing from one size of the room to the other. I think most avid travelers know of the type of room I speak. The one where you have to throw your heavy luggage on the bed before you can open it, grab whatever you need, zip it back up and squeeze it back into a corner where it remains, in your way untill you needed to retrieve something else from it.
The location could not have been better. The hotel combines a lot of traditional Japanese aspects and Ryoken style accommodation with the efficiency and amenities of a modern hotel, which made it the perfect zen oasis in the middle of the vibrancy and energy of Dontonburi Osaka. The onsen was a lovely feature, and ideal for relaxing and helping with sore feet and muscles after a long day sightseeing or at Universal Studios. The rooms were a decent size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was Japanese in focus, which we really liked, and they also offer free ramen in the restaurant between 9.30pm and 11.30pm, which is very cool. If you miss the window, the reception will give you some instant ramen cups to take up to your room, which is very cute! Staff were very sweet and helpful.
Breakfast can get really busy during peak hours and you might find you have to wait, so if you are in a hurry in the morning, make sure you check when the busy hours are and work around. Same with the onsen - it can get very crowded in the evening.
The hotel has a free onsen for guests and offers free refreshments for guests afterwards. They also provide complementary noodles every night for guests. The location is wonderful too.
The only thing we didn't like was the view. Our window was facing a wall. The bins in the room could be larger too, just to help keep the place clean.

Bed can be better
It felt like a perfectly peaceful oasis smack in the middle of the city. It was lovely. The onsen was nice, but could be pretty crowded depending on the time of day.
The breakfast room seems small for the demand and it was inconvenient having to wait for a breakfast table.
夜間2號2130有免費拉麵, 床褥不軟,瞓得算係舒服。
房間多塵,不論是床、或是廁所內抽氣扇。房間設備頗過時及有不算是新淨了。
Excellent location, delicious variety of breakfast and wonderful onsen and sauna facilities. We loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat!
Nothing
Great location, loved the onsen! The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were kind and helpful. We were able to walk or taxi to many places.
My only critique is the pillows were too hard and we could have used more than one pillow per bed.
早餐很棒,溫泉很棒
Rooms are clean, big, pretty and comfortable. very near to a main station and to key places as dotonbori.
Free miso soup and free ice cream are big deals too! And onsen was a great experience
Onsen was a perfect Japanese experience. Complimentary treats and noodles were a real treat.
