The two pool areas where gorgeous, the rooms are a good size. The service people people really tried hard.
Its a little far out, which is nice if you want to relax but you have to get a boat to and from the hotel so its not the most convenient if you want to explore. We had no hot water and the rooms were not serviced.
Beautiful hotel. Extremely expensive menu. Staff service level does not match costs of service. It was like walmart staff working at the Ritz-Carlton.
Very poor service by untrained staff
El lugar, el agua al rededor, la habitación, la atención. Todo es un 10/10.
It was a unique experience. The hotel is in an island and can only be accessed by boat. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. It was a definite must see but it was kind of eery to be the only ones staying there in the middle of a lake. The room and hotel had everything we needed but hot water. Thats the only reason i gave it a 3 star overall. The food was good and it was a good experience.
This is true gem!!! We love everything.
Nothing
Thanks to all the staff, all the personnel are amazing, exceptional service, especially Estela at the restaurant area.
The facility is super clean, the room super comfortable and the experience at the island is indescribable.

Nice staff, beautiful hotel
A bit faraway from everything, some kind of curfew (need to be back at the hotel before 10pm).
A beautifully designed property that utilizes the entire island on which it is situated. The design has an old world feel; and the grounds around the building are beautifully landscaped and curated to offer the most compelling frames for pictures of the lake. Especially at sunrise and sunset. The hotel is popular with day trippers who come from brunch or dinner and spend the day. So, guests staying over on the island during the off-season will generally have the property to themselves. As we did. We felt like a king and queen in our own palace. We had the entire hotel and staff to our selves. When we were late coming down for dinner, the waiter brought up our dinner to our room. When we were at the pool and they were looking for us for breakfast, the waiter came and brought our breakfast put to the pool area by the water's edge. It was a very unique and surreal experience, to say the least. But we lived it. King and Queen for 2 days. Breakfast was hearty. Typical Nicaraguan or typical American.
Because of excessive rains in the previous month the water level of the lake was high. This caused water to come over parts of the pathway around the island. The hotel had to temporarily close those sections off to prevent people from falling g in the wet and slippery walkway. But this is an act of nature. Not of negligence.
We had a nice stay overall. The staff was friendly, and the food was good. There wasn't any hot water, but that was only an issue with showering. But not having hot water was pretty common throughout Nicaragua.
The food, the place, the stuff and service and the attention
Beautiful views
Friendly staff
Quiet and relaxing
Elevator broken, difficult to get up and down stairs with person on wheelchair

Stunning island setting with view to Isletas and towards Mount Mombacho on the other side of the island. It felt magical as we were the sole visitors. The room was well appointed and luxurious. A shame our hi-tech shower had no hot water, for this price I expect a high end bathroom experience, the water was cold the mini bar was empty and no tea/coffee making facility. The staff however were friendly.
This is a 4 star hotel, shame our dinner was not. Probably the saddest Club Sandwich and Chicken Panini ever.
Breakfast service was slow, and we were charged for second coffees when most hotels include a fill up in their "inclusive breakfast" No kayaks, quoted 60 dollars for a one hour boat ride.
Electricity kept going off before check out. At same time water stopped flowing in handbasin an hour before we left.
The location was great, we enjoyed the pool area and the included kayaks to explore the area. The staff was also very nice.
The place was dead, I think we were the only ones staying in the whole hotel. Very eerie. Although check out is at 12, we asked if we could do late check out to kill more time before we give up our cab rental but unfortunately they were not able to accommodate us even though we were literally the only ones there. Would have been nice to converse with others on holiday but there was no one else staying at the hotel other than staff. I thought that was so strange, such a nice hotel, what a shame.
The location is spectacular at an isleta close to Granada. A short car drive to the private pier with parking lot from where a short boat trip will take you to the hotel. It really reminds me of Fantasy Island with Ricardo Montalban if you are as old as I am
It is a special getaway, not your everyday leisure hotel
Excellent service, impeccable rooms. We had amazing and peaceful experience.
None of the amability was not available, service of food took too long.
